JT's Pizza and Plates — Restaurant in Town/Village of East Rochester

My wife and I were running errands today to get estimates for kitchen and floor renovations so she mentioned JT's Pizza and Plates in East Rochester. I've always liked white pizzas and my wife preferred calzones. She ordered online and the food was ready in 15 minutes. That's pretty impressive. I got the Pesto Pete and added anchovies and my wife ordered the Pepperoni Calzone Most white pizzas are pretty oily and generally a mess to eat especially if you order a bunch of toppings. This was not the case. The toppings were generous and the artichoke hearts were cut into quarter pieces. The anchovies were evenly distributed. The pizza was crispy and delicious. A nice chewy crust almost like fresh Italian bread. The pesto sauce was light without being greasy. My wife loved her calzone. I was looking for a place to order garbage plates on a Saturday night with some non-Rochestarian friends. I had never heard of JTs before, but decided to give them a try when they popped up on GrubHub and I'm very glad I did.

Delivery was fast, food was hot, and the plates were great. I also probably could've injured someone with how heavy the delivery bags were - the first sign of a quality garbage plate. We each got different plates (chicken finger, JTs, grilled cheese) and were completely silent while we shoveled as much as we could before feeling ill. In the best way. JTs has fortified my argument for my friends to move here and become my new favorite place for a garbage plate in one fell swoop. So glad I checked them out, and so glad to be having leftovers as I write this.

The absolute best pizza I've had around the East Rochester area, if not in Rochester alone! Not going to even start with appetizers or calzones because those are delicious and just tantalizing just to look at. They have huge garbage/trash plates as well which is more than enough to feed two people each. Makes my mouth water just to talk about it. I love the food and the atmosphere. The only downfall to this pizza shop, not being spread across the country, because man oh man that food is top notch. The wing sauces varieties they have are a masterpiece in itself.
