Allegria Ristorante — Restaurant in Town/Village of Harrison

I live in the neighborhood so I am interested in the local restaurants. I'm happy that this opened up cause I'm moving at the end of the month and I wanted to eat here before I move. I'm happy that I went to eat last night. It fulfilled every Italians dream! The staff was very welcoming. That's important because it sends out great vibes (unlike the previous restaurant in this location).

I sat at the bar cause it's just me. I wish the calamari wasn't so crispy...I like the light and flakey batter so you can taste the calamari...that's the only negative thing I'll say...I love that there were olives in the marina sauce for the calamari.

I had the rigatoni w/ oxtail ragu...that was amazing! Perfect amount too!I had a wonderful glass of Tuscan wine that complemented all that I ate.

For dessert...it was ok...there's a nice selection. I wish you could add a flourless chocolate cake to the dessert menu. People love some dedicated to chocolate for dessert. Also, think about adding a real Italian cheesecake..the one with ricotta. Those would be my suggestions. I'm actually going back tonight to try something new. I'm here on the weekends until the end of the month. I will be back occasionally and frequent this diamond restaurant. Nice job and congratulations! 😉

*I did go back and was not disappointed. I had the ribeye which was so delicious! I thought I would save half for the next day but that didn't enter my mind as I was eating it! The calamari with the sauce over it is great too! I've also tried the Panna Cotta which...

I had a fantastic dining experience at this new restaurant in town while celebrating with friends. From start to finish, our meal was a delightful journey through Italian cuisine.

For our appetizers, we savored the calamari, which was very tasty but not chewy, and the bruschetta, a burst of delicious flavor.

The main course was a shared delight, with the red snapper cooked to perfection and accompanied by a surprising side of avocado paste and tomatoes, which complemented the dish beautifully. We also indulged in pasta with ox tails and homemade pasta filled with spinach and ricotta, both of which were heavenly, perfectly cooked to maintain that ideal pasta texture.

The desserts were the cherry on top of an already wonderful meal. The tiramisu and pannacotta were some of the best I've ever had, delivering that sweet, satisfying conclusion to our dinner.
