Idk how anyone can say the food here is good! I took my son for dinner last night at 7 (still a normal dinner hour) there was hardly any food in the buffet trays and what was in there was very old and dried out! The sauces and sushi was also very dried over. I swear to God the food looked like what you would expect when walking through a buffet line a week after a zombie apocalypse took place mid dinner... just minus the flies and maggots. We should have just walked out but we were so hungry after being up all night with his gf giving birth, we tried a couple things that might have looked safe, egg rolls & rice. I broke open my egg roll, it was GREY inside, the rice was tasteless and dry like it was made of plastic. We paid $25 dollars and left after a couple bites, leaving our plates practically full. I'll never go there again. The place looked like it has both feet in the grave anyways. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if last night was their last night. It was all quiet, the servers all looked miserable, the place is seriously outdated and dirty looking inside, It was like being in a nightmare. I honestly don't know why I didn't turn right around and walk out. If a nightmarish, gross, post apocalyptic dinning experience is what you're looking for... this is your place! But there are far more and much better places to eat in Olean. I regret not going...
Read moreVery delicious and affordable buffet! We paid $9 per person for all you can eat buffet lunch, including dessert. There was a wide variety of meats and seafood, which my Chinese friends reported was fairly authentic compared to other restaurants in the area. In addition to rice, noodle, dumpling and egg roll sides, there were plenty of fruits and vegetables available. There was also some sushi, little cakes, macaroons, and cream puffs for dessert, and ice cream. For shy palates there was mac and cheese, pizza, plain chicken nuggets, and garlic bread available. It was a really good option for everyone to try a little bit of everything that looked interesting to them and eat plenty of what they liked best, without worrying about the bill growing with every appetizer and side. My only problem was wanting more labeling - some dishes weren't marked to tell me what they were. And as a person with a shellfish allergy I wanted to know what was in the dumplings and egg rolls. The staff were able to tell me, though, and I had no allergy issues from just eating the chicken, noodles and other safe foods. My friends ate seafood and the smell...
Read moreThis was my first time here. The staff was really withdrawn and non responsive. They were borderline rude as Everytime I asked a question the waitress had a look of revulsion on her face. Trust me I am nice and I don't stink. The only thing I could think of was that maybe she didn't understand what I was saying and she felt awkward because she didn't know how to communicate that to me. The wonton broth tasted like water. I had to add a lot of salt to it. The shrimp was seated next to the banana cake and shrimp kept falling into the banana cake when people would come to get it. The cherry on top was I found hair in my ice cream. Olean doesn't have good Chinese food. I would say of the three options in town they have the best. I really liked their seafood biscuit and coconut shrimp. The raw shrimp for cocktail was not deturded and the intact intestinal tract poop included, grossed me out but I should have known better because they still had their legs and eyes. They had very good...
