Twist & Shake — Restaurant in Town of Allegany

Food is typical fryer/frozen burger food. The hard ice cream selection is good, but the portions of ice cream are pathetic at best. For $6 there should be at least 14 oz of ice cream. A medium would fit into a 1 cup measuring cup. I’m sorry, but that’s completely unacceptable when the Creamery in Bradford packs a 16oz cup full. This will 100% be a reason that I don’t spend my money there. I get ice cream 2-3 times a week and don’t mind spending whatever is asked, but if I wanted a baby size serving of ice cream, that’s what I would order. My daughter walks over with this ENORMOUS soft serve, and I say, "Damn, did u get an XXL?" And she says,"This is a medium! "!!!!!! Huge soft serve portions. I ordered a medium Praline Carmel (regular ice cream scoops) and was very pleased with the quality of the ice cream. My son ordered a chocolate milkshake. He said it was good, but he's had better. Visited from out of town. They had 3 vegan friendly options. Tried the Dairy free Blueberry Pancake ice cream and it was amazing. My kids enjoyed playing on the wooden train and playset. Just wish there was a public bathroom onsite for guests. My 4 year old had to go to the bathroom and we had to sadly leave to go to a store nearby (which included buckling two children into their car seats) just so she wouldn't pee herself. I was later told by a family member that they do have bathrooms but have kept them locked for employees only...
