I can’t believe we waited so long for this bakery to open. It was a total disappointment first of all not one picture or decoration on any walls plane and ugly. No tablecloths and you got your plastic silverware and napkins yourself out of a plastic container. There ere 2 kids behind the displays, witch were all messed up, no pretty plates or colored doilies, not a thing to show off their baked goods. Goopy looking cinnamon rolls and a lumpy looking Almond Ring , I was interested in for some outrageous price of $45.00 or $ 6.50 a piece. We were told to order food at the counter and showed were the menus were, after ordering p1salad and some sandwiches roll up s. We were given a bag of chips our lunch in a plastic container and cold coffee. Their were 5 of us and the girls said that the coffee was cold and awful, the waitress was asked to make a new pot. Reluctantly, she did & offered my friend a free cookie instead. This area is a goldmine ( have you never seen the Cookie Jar backery on Hallmark). The ladies meet their every day for coffee and cookies, it’s beautifully decorated and the waitress knows what everyone wants. We have been waiting for our place to come and chat, the men in the area go to Tim Hortons. I know I am just being silly, but after taking my friends to our new bakery, I was so upset and humiliated by what It looked like and the prices were outrageous. You are in the middle of a very beautiful area of homes and senior appointments, do you not want our business? We would love ❤️ to have a very nice place to go. Please help our wish...
Read moreThe bakery is really nice looking very clean with friendly staff. A fair selection of goods that looked really delicious. We went to try the rolls got the one regular cinimon roll and one specialty (cookie dough). They rolls are kinda exspencive but they are also crazy gigantic so its not unreasonable when you consider its giant. Mabey we caught an off day but to be honest they didn't live up to the hype and are probably my least favorite I've had anywhere. The $15 cookie dough one didn't give any cookie dough flavor at all (other then having chocolate chips in it i dont get where it had cookie dough) the cinimon one wasn't much more flavorful eather. When you think cinimon roll you think warm and gooey but both were kinda hard and dry with an overly sweet frosting that over powered. I'd give the place a 5 for atmosphere cleanliness and friendly staff and the rolls a 3 at most. Next time I go I'll probably try something different like the almond ring or pasty hearts both looked really good (also very generous sizes). If your going for rolls they are seriously very huge so be ready for left overs or share with others its probably gonna take a couple sittings for one person. Read moreMeh. This place was disappointing and I had high hopes. The bakery items looked delicious. I did not try any of the pastries, however, we had a breakfast sandwich that was overpriced. We chose the homemade hard roll, which was not a hard roll, but a sweet slider roll not nearly big enough for the sandwich and upgraded $1.50 extra for sausage which was some cheap sausage patty you might get from Aldi next door in a pack of 30 for four bucks. We also had the French toast which was pretty good. The mocha iced coffee was OK not memorable and the mocha hot coffee was very weak. Everything was very overpriced. Two sandwiches and two drinks was over $40. There is no dish bucket for you to put your dishes so you leave them on the table. This is not full-service mind you, have to order at the desk but yet they don’t have enough staff to come and clean up right away leaving the majority of the seating at the window with the light shining right in making it unbearable There was one large table, not in use because someone had left their computer there and notebooks. overall not very welcoming would...
