Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Arcadia

The food is great but you definitely lost my business tonight. Waited well over an hour for food. You guys close at 10:00pm and today is a Saturday and which you do close at that time. I placed my first call at 9:45pm to see where my order was and they did not answer. So I proceeded to call until they answered. After the third call I made they kept picking up and hanging up. Finally some rude guy picked it up and I said I made a call well over an hour ago for my food. Well apparently the delivery guy was calling my phone to let me know he was at my door. I did not receive no call or have missed calls on my phone. He probably did try to call but went to voicemail because i had to continuously call because nobody would answer or you would pick up and hang up! AND AGAIN you guys close at 10:00 not 9:45pm. Maybe if you answered my call the first time at 9:45pm the delivery guys phone call would have went through. Never again will i order from this place due to the rude man who answered the phone getting cocky saying the delivery driver was trying to call me when infact it was their fault for not answering and keep hanging up on me. The delivery driver fell down the stairs at my apartment building and I truly hope he is ok. I paid him a $7 tip because I felt bad he had fell. Would recommend other pizza places in town! Very dissatisfied with the 1.5 hour wait with the store location 5 minutes down the road. The customer service wasn't great the lady who answered set my expectations at 30 to 45 for how long the pizza and wings would take. They are claiming COVID-19 is affecting their pizza delivery but it sounds like an excuse for a poor representation of a great pizza place. I called the lady she said let me check on your order and she said oh the only delivery driver just came in the door I'll send your order out it will be 10 minutes. It took another 30 minutes. I saw the same delivery driver drive by my house twice with my order in the car apparently. Pizza is just warm Definitely been sitting for a while after getting out of the oven. Ordered 2 subs for takeout at the counter and sat down to wait. They took phone number and name. Said 15 minutes tops after about a half hour went to counter to wait. Saw a bag sitting on the rack. After at least another 5 minutes counter person looked at bag and handed it to me. I asked how long has that been sitting there and he said 5 minutes which I know was a lie because I was standing there longer than 5 minutes. I placed order at 1:23 did not get 2 subs until 1:56. I'd probably still be sitting at table waiting if I hadn't stood at counter. There was only my wife and I and 1 other party in the store.
