It was my first eating B-BBQ, i was greeted by the owner upon entering the establishment. Owner was very welcoming,I got the chicken & ribs combo with fire grilled corn and a side of mac with chili on top (chili on top was recommended and did not disappoint). Owner was very knowledgable about BBQ. The chicken was moist and seasoned to perfection, the BBQ ribs were tender with a fantastic flavor this was also seasoned like the chicken. Corn was was delicious and paired well with the proteins. The mac was delicious but the chili on top elevated a side dish to its own entree alone. The side of BBQ sauce given is delicious, its tangy & sweet with a subtle kick of spice/heat. I will be returning to try the rest of the menu. I would recommend friends and family to try for themselves!
Plate looks a lil messy due to shifting during transit(i ride a bike).
Edit: Went back a second time after my initial visit. I didn’t change anything about my order but the side of corn, i got the coleslaw instead. Not a huge fan of coleslaw but i like giving things a chance and it did not disappoint. I’m new to the coleslaw game but it was very delicious, I ordered thru doordash & picked up this time but he didn’t make my order until I arrived. I loved that! Most places will make to order and have it sit there letting it get cold. Still would recommend to family & friends and will be returning for a 3rd time and many more! Thanks Joe!
Edit: I have officially tried everything on the menu! I got “The homemade Texas beef links” and they did not disappoint! Big portions with the 2 giant links and the chili mac, i also got a side of cornbread as well and it was delicious. The taste of pineapple and sweetness but not too sweet was good. I know pineapple juice in cornbread isn’t usual, but its good to spice up old recipes. It complimented the food well. The links had a kick to them(I can’t even handle frank’s red hot sauce) and i’d get them again! This BBQ is fantastic and I will continue to frequent the business.
Edit: I have officially tried everything on the menu. From the ribs to the pull pork sandwich to every side in the house! I love this place I will recommend to anyone in need of good BBQ!...

Read moreWe had a taste for BBQ this weekend so we decided to give Bitterman's a try... best decision we made! The place has been there for a couple of years but this was our first visit. First impression when I walked in was "wow" at the cleanliness, place was spotless. The guy who helped us (the one in all of the other google reviews) was great - he was funny and kind and truly seemed to enjoy himself.
Now, the food - delicious! We ordered a platter with 2 meats & 2 sides (we got chicken and pulled pork, mac 'n' cheese & beans), and a pulled pork sandwich. The chicken was moist and delicious, the pulled pork was the same...including some delicious darked ends (like it should be). The beans were good and flavorful, unlike some that are dry and tasteless. The mac 'n' cheese was good - nothing I'll be craving but good enough. The Pulled Pork Sandwich is a MUST! It is LOADED with pulled pork, coleslaw and their yummy sauce goes on top. The BBQ sauce if like a smoked hickory. My spouse ate this sandwich but, only 1/2 and saved the other half for the next day. He raved about the sandwich, the pulled pork and the slaw and sauce were exactly to his liking. I also had leftover chicken and pulled pork the next day too (in fact, I still have some pulled pork leftover). We split the sides, which was also more than enough to share.
We look forward to going back - we really want to try some different things because they've gotta be just as delicious.
My recommendations for the store? Baked potatoes --- I would love to put their pulled pork & sauce w/ sour cream on a big baked potato...yummmm.
Please visit - the food is great, the people are great and the prices are just right!
*I forgot to get pics of the platter...
