Once upon a time there was A Starbucks on the opposite side of Deer Park Ave. It was Cozy, clean, comfortable, n great meeting place. It was a fav. But sadly it closed down. This was PRE PANDEMIC. THEN EVERYONE BECAME AFRAID TO BE EXPOSED SO THEY CLOSED and CAME UP WITH A BRILLIANT IDEA. LET'S OPEN A DRIVE THROUGH ! This WAY PEOPLE CAN FEEL SAFE N WE CAN STILL MAKE MONEY. OK UNDERSTANDABLE, RIGHT? BUT NOW NEARLY 2 YEARS LATER. Some of us would like to enjoy a quiet place where we can meet with other people still practicing social distancing . But now with this new concept the only way to be n feel safe is to stay in your car. So yesterday my family happened to be in my neighborhood n they wanted to take me for a cup of coffee n they asked if there's a STARBUCKS nearby. So we went. It's the only one in my area n It's a drive through, there is seating inside but very limited. We were 4 n we went inside n there was a line of cars wrapped around the building. We wanted to sit and talk while enjoying not only the coffee but our time together. Unfortunately it's a drive through which means it's quite small. First we had to stand on line to order n then the small area they have for seating is uncomfortable while there are others standing waiting to be served or to get a seat. It was the least comfortable setting for the most expensive cup of coffee. I hope they don't close down all of the nice comfortable n quiet places that most of us looked forward to meet with friends or enjoy a cup of Jo in a Cozy and Comfortable atmosphere. PS. PLEASE BRING BACK A VARIETY OF SUGAR FREE FLAVORS. MY FAVORITE WAS THE MOCHA . BUT NOW IT'S ONLY VANILLA. I UNDERSTAND THAT ITS NOT COAST EFFECTIVE TO HAVE TOO MUCH VARIETY, BUT I ALSO BELIEVE YOU WOULD INCREASE YOUR SALES IF (A) YOU ADD AT LEAST ONE OTHER CHOICE FOR THOSE WHO PREFER SOMETHING OTHER THAN JUST (SF ) VANILLA N CHOCOLATE I'M SURE WOULD BE AN OPTION FOR THOSE THAT MY NOT FAVOR VANILLA. PLEASE CONSIDER. I DO REMEMBER AT ONE TIME YOU DID HAVE SUCH AN OPTION. BUT IT WAS DISCONTINUED. BECAUSE OF THE EXPENCE N THE WAST. IT DIDN'T SEEM WORTH DOING BECAUSE IT WASN'T POPULAR. BUT I ALSO KNOW THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE KNEW IT EXISTED. SO MAYBE YOU CAN MAKE THE PACKAGE SMALLER N ADVERTISE IT More Frequently so those who are dieting n have issues w sugar also have a Choice. I'm sure if it was properly advertised the test that you'd get a lot of Interest in such a product I'm almost sure that they might even buy it if it was packaged for sale and use it at Home please please consider my request on behalf of all people who likes Starbucks but don't get Choices, Well it might be a smaller population I'm certain that it would grow they would grow immensely if it was advertised properly people love to have choices. Read moreI never have a positive experience here. Their customer service is absolutely abysmal. You’re read it at the drive-through window nor are you greeted once you drive through and actually are there to retrieve your order. Each time I visit this establishment when I pull up to the drive-through to make an order I am never agreed. I’m sitting there waiting for someone to greet me. each time I have to say hello hello in order to place an order. Then when I get to the drive-through window barista does not greet me on multiple occasions does not provide me with the receipt hand me the items without even making eye contact. Then shoves the items that I ordered out the window looking in the opposite direction. After ordering my coffee and waiting for my pastry, I sat for several minutes before the barista said anything. I literally had to look and say, excuse me, and then I was asked what are you waiting for? Shortly after leaving the drive-through I called in order to speak with a manager. I have had this experience on multiple occasions at this location and have let it fly. This time I called. If I had not an appointment to me, I would have gone inside of the establishment to speak with a manager face. When I spoke with the manager, who was new to this location she informed me that she is well aware of the issue and that they’ve had complaints and that they are working on it. She offered to rectify the situation by providing another drink on a different. Although she tried to rectify the situation by providing another drink what would be best is that the people who work here have better customer service. It is not that difficult and it is a part of the job to grieve to acknowledge a customer to actually look at the customer and to know what the customer has ordered or else what is the point of you...
Read moreThis location needs an overhaul in a myriad of aspects. I have wasted precious time in the drive-thru and have gotten turned away when I had cash because they were “only taking card” that day. Mmmmm, yeah okay. On my birthday, I went for the free drink because I’m a Starbucks rewards member. I was waiting for a half an hour as everyone else was getting served before me. Rightfully so, I got ticked off and went to another Starbucks location that was further out of my way, and got served promptly and happily there. Another time, I went inside the location with a few friends, and as a typical customer does looking at the board trying to figure out what to get, the barista barked at us with her atrocious attitude and said something along the lines of “guys, pick your orders I don’t have all day”. How dare you talk to loyal paying customers in such a callous manner. Have some morality. Mind you, this was not said in a soft quiet manner, but rather she raised her voice, and chastised us like a teacher, principal, parent, or disciplinary figure would. This location is particularly smaller than others so this snide comment echoed off the walls, and caught other customers and baristas attention. That barista has no right to belittle any paying customer unprovoked; I felt mortified, and definitely degraded. Not to mention, snapping at customers is extremely disrespectful and referring to us as “guys” without a greeting is beyond insensitive and insulting. The drinks I have also had here are too oversaturated with the syrups and flavoring. It’s unfortunate I have to travel to further locations, but my limits were pushed at...
