Food: 4/5 - Good selection of serving styles and ingredients. Food was well prepared. Tasty. Nice variety of sauces. I ordered the steak burrito. There were 3 spoonfuls of steak added. (They didn't skimp.) I left full. Was served with a side of tortilla chips. Food could have been a tad hotter but it was hot enough not to be an issue.

Service: 4/5 - Friendly greeting by manager/owner. Made some polite chit-chat while preparing. Informed us of the mon-thu lunch special of $7.99! There were about 3 people working, one cooking, and two preparing orders and helping customers. I visited at lunch time during the week. Food was prepared quickly. No followups to ask how things were. An important step for a new establishment.

Atmosphere: 3/5 - Not bad but nothing exciting either. There is no vibe or music. It doesn't seem like a Mexican place frankly. Seating is limited. There are about 4 tables but more can be added in the future.

Cleanliness 4/5 - Everything was clean as a new place should be. Workers were wearing hats and gloves but the manager/owner was not and was handling food. Kitchen is in full view of the patron's so that's a positive. You can see the conditions that the food is being prepared. No digestive issues afterwards -- an indication that things are being stored / cooked properly.

Value 5/5 - $7.99 for a lunch special is good! It's normally $9.99 for the burrito bowl and depending on your proteins it can cost a $1 or $2 more. They take mobile payments. Guac is extra.

Parking 2/5 - Very tight small lot. It gets crowded at peak times. Getting in and out of the lot can be challenging sometimes.

Overall - 4/5 - A very good meal and decent service. Cheaper than across the street at Guac Time with a similar setup. Guac Time gives you a bit more food but costs considerably more. Better service than Guac Time. That said I left full and satisfied.

Recommendation To The Owner: Consider improving the seating area with branding, color, etc. Watch the temperature on the tray's that hold the food for preparation. Dial them up a little...

Been going here 2/3 times a week since they opened. I work at the school up the road. Go today to get my usual lunch special. Mind you all the food is already prepared here. Select my usual rice and beans. Get to the protein and ask for the spicy chicken and the girl behind the counter tells me they no longer do the spicy chicken with the lunch special only the plain chicken. I ask her when it changed and she told me yesterday. I asked her if she can make an exception this one time since I come here all the time and the changed is so new. She denied my request so I walked out.

From a customer service standpoint this is a huge error. You’ve lost my business going forward and I’ll be sure not a single faculty member or staff member from the school ever comes here again. The fact you let a customer walk out over a seasoning.
