The Dirty Cheesecake AKA Made by Lilis — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I wanted some different dessert for my Dec 23 family gathering of 30 people. I read about this bakery and took the ride and ordered some things. Thought the prices were definitely high but I always say you get what you pay for. I also thought everything looked good. I went on the 21 st to order it and was going to pick up Saturday the 23 rd between 11- 12. I got there at 11:30 no idea who I was gave them the receipt. They said what is the name under I said John. Looked came back asked if it could be another name I said no I said here is the receipt. After 3-4 minutes the two young ladies talking in the back came out and said sorry but the order is not ready. We can have it ready in 15 minutes. I was in a time crunch with a lot of running around. I did ask is 15 minutes an accurate number they said yes. Well I was not expecting to get all the stuff that was sitting in the shelves and the freezers for days but I had no other choice. If you figure it out it’s almost 100 dollars for a cheesecake or 11 per slice They threw things on the 11 dollar a slice cheesecake that was frozen or sitting in the refrig for days as you can see from photo they rushed and the amount of topping they threw on was disgusting. We all had a small taste but only one person liked any of it except the banana pudding two people loved it. As for me. I hated the cheesecake. There was so much toppings you didn’t even taste the cheesecake it was impossible. The Nutella cookies were so hard they must have been there for days. LILI cake No good. I did enjoy the banana pudding. As you see the amount of money I spent and threw away at least half of the stuff. I am reviewing this on what we had and I do think the young ladies just throwing things on was a big problem. I did leave one slice of cheesecake in the refrig and three days later the inside was brown not sure if it was from the caramel or not. I received a text an hour after my order that I get 10 % off next order but needs to be in the next three days. Thought that was a little tacky after I spent over 200 bucks. Maybe next 30 days would be nice . I give honest reviews but this place is way too expensive I would never go back but a 200 dollar order should be made fresh and ready for pick up when the customer comes for it. We were expending the night around after a wedding then next day after lunch we want something sweet I tried to googled best desert in Long Island and this place shows up. I was so excited bc everything looks great online as soon that I open the door the employee had with this none friendly face that made me feel super uncomfortable. Of course I never been there I wanna look everything and then decide so literally every other minute she asked are u ready? Again are u ready ? Like please give me a min the place was empty it’s not that I’m holding the line or anything, she wasn’t in a rush either bc she wasn’t doing anything else and it was just maybe 2:30pm. Nothing in the menu had prices like what? Whyyy? As soon that my husband ask for the price of the “loaded cheesecakes” that is completely fine she make a face even kinda roll her eyes and I think she said $11.99 bc she answer while she walked away, yeah that rude. I asked if the mango cheesecake was actually mango flavored or just the mango topping and she didn’t even know the answer so I end up ordering in a rush bc I was there maybe for 5-8 min a Reese’s stuff cookie that didn’t even had Reese’s just peanut butter and a biscotti blondie that actually was an square cookie and yes there were good but u can name a treats Reese’s with out Reese’s and u can name something as a blondie that supposed to be chewy and is actually a cookie texture plus has someone working that can’t even deal with herself this is one of the top reason small businesses...

When we first heard about this place, we didn't know what to expect. All we knew is that a very young girl, with a passion for baking, inspired her father to open a bakery in NYC. Due to its popularity, they opened a new location in North Babylon, NY (Suffolk County). Being so close to home, we had to get here ASAP! Fast forward to present day, SPOILER ALERT, we are regulars at this bakery!

Walking in, you are greated with a variety of heavenly, decadent desserts from macarons to their popular four layered cheesecake (chocolate chip cookie, oreos, cheesecake, then brownie...the perfect collaboration). What really caught our eyes was the display of 18 varieties of cheesecake-on-a-stick...YES PLEASE! Cheesecake dipped into melted chocolate and decorated (right in front of you) in an assortment of toppings from oreos to fruity pebbles, don't forget about the drizzles! They do have your basic bakery items with the best ingredients, and everything is made fresh at shop, and baked to perfection...they also have milkshakes! I do wish they sold cups of coffee, but what can you do!

When all is completed, don't forget to show off your purchases in front of the beautiful floral instagram wall complete with a neon sign! By the way...they are open until 12am every night and are on the basic food delivery apps.
