Door County Brewing Co. Taproom, DCBC Eats & Music Hall — Restaurant in Town of Baileys Harbor

We cannot say enough good things about Door County Brewing Co. This is our second trip back (first time in 2022), and the beer and atmosphere was enough for us to make a point to come back, even staying in Ellison Bay, around 25 minutes away. Have kids but also want to have a beer without getting side eye? This is your place. In fact, they welcome kids with a plethora of board games. Our kids are big fans of Headbandz, and even John joined in. Not many employees would go out of their way to play a few minutes with a 10, 8, and 6 year old. Need food? There’s a food truck on site with all kinds of awesome food. We’re partial to the nachos. Or you can grab some spicy peanuts, cheese curds (NOT fried for you Chicago folk), or a giant pretzel from the bar. We have never been to a brewery who literally went out of their way to get to know us by joining us at our table and getting to know us. Having 3 boys doesn’t usually inspire a fireside chat, but John came and talked to us like we were old friends. The beer is fantastic. We are partial to the Hacienda Beer Co. portion of the menu. There are incredible flavors that are completely unique. We’re no strangers to breweries, and their flavors take the cake. Stop in, grab a beer, some nachos, and play a game. Visited Door County Brewing Company this past week and my family had an incredible time there! From the moment we walked in, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Mike, the GM! He was engaging, made us feel truly welcome, and was very friendly and hospitable! He quickly established a rapport and relationship with us and we connected on so many levels with him and became instant friends! In my opinion, genuine and sincere service is important to the overall experience, atmosphere, and vibe of a place!There was a wide variety of beers offered, askance of personal taste, preferences considered, and knowledgeable recommendations given. The beers chosen were cold and tasty! And, it was nice that a gluten free option: various flavors of seltzer, were available as well! We noted the place to be clean and tidy, rustic woodsy theme, with games available for customers to use if desired. GM Mike was an Energizer Bunny, making rounds inside and out, cleaning, waiting on and checking on and chatting with customers, including our group, several times! LOVE THIS PLACE! We are from the Madison area and everytime we are visiting Door County, we make a stop at Door County Brewing Company. We've had great times playing bags, listening to live music and enjoying a cold beer on the patio, and even in the colder temps have stopped by for a beer and to play board games. My favorite beer of theirs is the Big Sister, a hibiscus spin off of their Little Sister, which is a summer special. The atmosphere is PERFECT. Old wooden beams, rusted metal signage, multi-story high ceilings and high top wooden tables. They even have a small gift shop area, there's food available next door from the Door County Brewing Company Eats and they have a stage inside for live music. Come with your partner, friends or whole family! They have large tables inside for big groups or to share, a backyard stage and seating or picnic tables out front. In the summer, this is absolutely the place to be! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend you check this place out!
