I was really looking for someone to come in and honor the memory of Custards Last Stand. Upon entering we found a few cute architectural details interesting but the stark bare room with a mix of minimalism and country living was definitely apparent. We waited in a line of 8 and it took an uncomfortable amount of time to get through that line. There was one young lady making the dishes and one who stood waiting at the register and one woman who I can only assume is the owner standing next to the counter chatting up some friends. We overheard them say this endeavor was just a test run to see how it went. Read moreService was average. The real issue was the sizes and amount served with those sizes. We wanted a large quantity to bring back to a group, and the largest quantity they offer is a pint. That would be fine if the amount of custard they scooped into seven $9 pints of custard wasn’t ABYSMAL.
