Greek Brothers Grill — Restaurant in Town of Blooming Grove

I hate to write a bad review..but the food @ Greek Brothers Grill is horrible. Ordered the Lamb & Beef Gyro Platter w/Tzatziki sauce, Fries & Greek Salad (food is overpriced, they charge 2 prices cash $29.00/credit $29.12). The lamb/beef gyro was super salty, too much seasoning and too many onions. I could not eat it..I took two bites and threw it in the garbage that’s how bad it was. The Tzatziki sauce was just a blob of I don’t know what .. it did not taste like tzatziki. The side salad was fresh but nothing to brag about. I also got the Souvlaki Chicken Skewer (cash $5.00/credit $5.20). Some of the chicken chunks were raw inside. I will not be returning back to this place. This is a takeout oriented place, with some indoor and outdoor seating. Tiny 1 person kitchen and 1 taking orders and serving. Don't expect fancy greek food. It's very ordinary. Edible but nothing special. Grateful for that, no offense. We came on Sunday afternoon, and the place was out of everything i wanted to try. They even had a board with a list of what they were out of (about 10 dishes), which makes me think it's not related to time of day. Its 2025, way after covid. Lemon soup was good apart from the rice in it, falafel ok, but their hummus is not hummus. They must have run out of tahini lol. A local Greek food restaurant. Possibly 5 tables. We came late and some food was not available. The cook was honest and did not want to serve me lamb, claiming it was too dry. I appreciate honesty. Shows me pride in his food and restaurant. We had a pita wrapped beef/lamb combination. It's was very tasty. It was a particularly cold evening. The restaurant was unpleasantly cold.
