A friend and I visited here for the first time together for coffee and a pastry. On recommendation I had a peach blueberry muffin that blew me away. Fruit was fresh and local, crumble on top perfectly finished, and the muffin must have been about half fruit, moist but did not fall apart. Then! I left my bag behind by mistake! And when I went back I just had to buy another muffin, and a cobbler bar to boot. Staff were very attentive, funny, friendly, quick, and helpful. I love the decor, I could stare at the neat vintage ceiling fan forever if it wouldn't hold up the line! Great little outdoor seating area with umbrella, indoor atmosphere is vintage, playful, and mischievous - like you stepped into an old toy chest in the attic, and there's also a delicious bakery inside! Guilty Pleasure truly is a gem of Washingtonville. Their speciality—which you’ll love—is cheesecake, which they have mastered and perfected into countless flavors and types including a vegan version [my absolute favorite and one you must try: it’ll be Heaven in your mouth!].

But that’s not the limit to what they offer, between their phenomenal baked goods, scrumptious sandwichs and fresh coffee, they spoil their customers with a litany of choice. My son goes wild for their fun variety of vintage sodas and their selection of candies, treats and goodies is any sweet tooth’s dream.

Guilty Pleasures Cheesecakes is a quaint little spot that offers some of the most delightful treats. “Guilty Pleasures” if you will. The desserts are excellent but what gives this my 5 stars is not just the cozy atmosphere and cute setup but the uniqueness of each cheesecake from the savory, Cheese Burger, Jalapeño Popper, Buffalo Chicken, to the sweet 7-Layer, Pumpkin, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (for Cereal week) the creativity knows no bounds.
