Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I am not one to normally write a review, however my experience this morning has my blood boiling! I stop into Dunkin every morning on my way to work, and have done so for over 15 years. This morning, I visited this location because there was police activity at my normal store on Montauk Highway in Patchogue (thank you to Maria and the staff at this location who work together so well and take such good care of their patrons!!). There were two people waiting for their order when I arrived. My order was promptly taken at 7:03AM (2 large coffees with Splenda and cream and a bagel with cream cheese...simple enough!). Soon after, the store became very crowded and the 3 store workers were unable to keep up. They seemed very confused, lacked direction and moved at a glacial pace. Orderers were coming out incorrectly and people started cancelling orders because of the wait time...including a Suffolk County Police Officer who even wrote her order out on paper...who ultimately walked out with an incomplete order and was visibly frustrated. One by one, I began noticing that orders placed after mine were coming out. By approximately 7:30AM, I was still waiting for my order and one of the workers noticed that I was becoming agitated and asked what I ordered. For whatever reason, my order was never put in or was skipped. A few minutes later, two coffees came out and I was told my order was completed. I had also ordered a bagel, which they did not prepare. A few more minutes later the bagel came out and I was happy to FINALLY move on my way. However, when I settled in my vehicle and took a sip, it was a black coffee with sweet and low - not what I ordered. I went back in to get my order corrected. One received, I voiced my displeasure with my experience and the horrible service I received. I also asked for the contact information for the store manager, which the workers refused to provide - thus this lengthy public review. I had left my house 20 minutes early to make it into work for an early meeting, which I ultimately missed due to the 30+ minutes it took to receive my order of two coffees and a bagel. It is my hopes that there is a review of how this store is run and managed because this experience was completely unacceptable and was completely avoidable with correct training...

I had an average opinion of this place but today made it at a low. The young staff were all loopy - the cashier couldn't find buttons on the register and then couldn't figure out my change when I gave him cash. My food was ok - I feel like they omitted a few hash browns from my order and the sandwich was slightly wrong. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get more aggravated. They tables weren't clean and there were no napkins in sight. The staff were just hanging out after I received my order and proceeded to talk about who their favorite singer was and song, etc. I was very hungry and the only reason I didn't rate them lower is because my iced coffee was made extremely fast and it helped slow by hunger down for a few. This is the worst Dunkin I've ever been to. I've been there several times and every time the employees are rude, never smile, they clearly don't want to be there. I smile and say thank you and they don't even respond, they just look at me with a blank stare and a frown on their face. To make matters worse, most of them don't speak English and can't even understand my order. To top it off, the place is disgusting, the tables are loaded with crumbs and other people's garbage and there is literally garbage all over the ground. I will gladly drive up the street to another Dunkin to not have to deal with the worst employees I've ever encountered at any store anywhere. Do yourself a favor and drive a like farther to a...
