So I have to give it a one star although the food was good the place is clean and the service is friendly. The man didnāt change his gloves, which means he has been working with the same pair of gloves all morning. I observed this man handle the staple touching the underside, and I was able to clearly see was dusty and dirty, touching the register, fiddling through the drawer, staples, and other material Dirtiness in cross-contamination and bacteria all over the same pair of gloves then I witnessed him help two additional customers, and still not change the gloves and have the audacity to pick up another bagel then put your entire glove on top of it while youāre cutting it in half and buttering the bagel. I see this from time to time some people just donāt have the knowledge that you have to change your gloves between each order. Iām sure they wouldnāt appreciate if I stuck my hand in a pile of dusty, dirty, cross-contamination handled mechanisms, touch the dirty registering than stuck my finger in your food. You have to think and get educated, take a board of health class. The BOH can and will fine you. And to top it off of course he took napkins out of the dispenser with the same pair of gloves on it and put it in my bag. Of course I had to take those napkins out and grab new napkins because thereās nothing but dirt and dust all over those gloves that I would now directly wipe my mouth with. The stupidity is just beyond belief. Change your gloves. Behind him there was about 12 boxes of gloves, but you still want to use the same one pair all day long. If you donāt have a budget for gloves and you need those 12 boxes of gloves to last you for two years because you want to use just one pair a day, then stop serving food and get out of the business since you donāt have the finances to stay in business under the board of health requirements. Or the other option is if you cannot afford to use more than one pair of gloves per day, then donāt use gloves and wash your hands between each order, and if you canāt afford the water, then donāt be in business. Or better yet wash the gloves between each order. you canāt stick your fingers everywhere all over dirty services left and right and touch peoples food. grow a brain...

I requested a Hot Turkey Club with an addition of a slice of ham. The man repeated my request for verification. I received a semi-cool sandwich whereas the turkey was microwaved with bacon and cheese. The overall sandwich was Not hot at all. I went to the deli clerk to make a complaint. I was scolded and he refused to correct my sandwich. Remember, "the customer is always right" attitude. I forgot, in today's society, no pride is put towards food production, no respect towards the customer at all and no apology for screwing up! You get what you get and that's it! No matter what Slop it is! In a "Good" bagel Deli, if something was wrong, the clerk would apologize and offer to correct the problem, or at least give a reduced price. Not today! I received an ear load of "That's what you wanted and I am Not going to throw away a good sandwich to correct your problem, not unless you Pay first for a new one!" (These days, the customer is Not always right and is ejected from the venue if he/she persisted in having the problem corrected!) I will not go here again if they can't apologize or at least fix the problem. We really felt like Second or Third class citizens here because they do not cater to cripples or people that don't dress to their standards! This is Discrimination. Greedy penny...

I recently visited Toasted Bagel and had an experience that truly deserves 5 stars, primarily due to their exceptional customer service. I ordered a Hungry Man breakfast with extra avocado, but when I received my order, I noticed the sausage was missing. I went back to the counter and explained the situation. The entire staff was incredibly apologetic and immediately set about fixing the mistake. Not only did they remake my order, but they made it even bigger than the original! (See pics). To top it off, they also kindly offered me a free coffee or another drink for the inconvenience. Wow! That's what I call customer service. They handled the issue with such professionalism and generosity. I left feeling very happy and satisfied. And, of course, the food itself was delicious! The fresh ingredients and perfectly toasted bagel made for a fantastic meal. I will definitely be coming back to Toasted Bagel. It's great to find a place that not only serves tasty food but also truly values its customers and knows how to make things right....
