Jimmy's Diner — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Jimmy's is the best possible version of a solid, regular, old fashioned diner. The staff here is so incredibly nice, accommodating, and competent. We had a large group come in for brunch for my aunt's birthday. Despite the size, Jimmy's said it'd be no problem as long as we didn't mind waiting a little for a few tables to clear out. They managed to take all of our orders and get us food shockingly quickly.

The food itself was all well prepared and delicious. If you are looking for a nice diner to stop by for breakfast or lunch, I could not recommend Jimmy's more. I hope I am in the area again so I can come back for...

We loved it! I took my father there for his birthday. After his stroke a few years back, he isn't big on being around a lot of people or loud places, so this place was perfect! The food is amazing, the service is upbeat and we couldn't have asked for better in that moment! The price is absolutely right too. This is the best Diner on Long Island and beyond, one of the top ones. Familial, on point service greets you and continues throughout. Varied selection with specials every day. And of course, the food, was outstanding. I had the Biscuits & Sausage Gravy combo, with a true sausage gravy and the eggs with orange yolks. My son had the Smores Pancakes special, also outstanding.
