I had one of the best experiences and it started at the drive thru order speaker ! It thru me for a loop because I was never treated so cheerily in the morning by anyone ! And I was use to going to the McDonald’s in Middle Island. I knew the woman’s voice was a little older but she brightened up my whole day ! I go back there atleast two or three times a week ! Her name is Mary and she is usually at the cashier window every morning ! And the girls at the pick up window are also very welcoming and politely smile when they hand you your bag ! Unlike the Middle Island McDonald’s where you feel like you are bothering them to place and pick up your order ! A lot of times I’ve noticed in my life that is due to Managements incapabilities to help build the moral of the workers ! They are not slaves and shouldn’t be scrutinized 8 hours a day ! I use to work for the “United States Post Office” for 30 years and from what I saw was that Management didn’t want to deal with the “Slacker’s” that’s what I called them but they would hound and be on the backs of the hard workers that actually carried their backs ! They wouldn’t dare try that with me because I wouldn’t put up with it but many people cowar to bosses like that on fear of losing their jobs ! I’m just saying the feeling I felt leaving the Coram McDonald’s was Uplifting where as leaving McDonald’s in Middle Island I would be mumbling a few choice words under my breathe ! All these kids try hard but like I said they are not slaves and i know the public is so hard to deal with but people should enjoy and want to come to work ! Read moreWent as always to use the app with all the 15 minute time restrictions which is just dumb but okay fine except I want a double quarter pounder with Cheese not a single which is the only one that isn’t buy one get one free & my entire life they would let us use those coupons in the 80s, 90s 2000’s 2010’s until now they put a loophole common sense I thought add $120 per quarter pounder patty & even with them charging for both on a buy one get one until I went with my free quarter pounder points & wanted a buy 1 double quarter pounder get one free but I couldn’t for multiple reasons. 1 I would have to press the use promotion after 15 minutes just sitting in the parking lot to not even get my free one after 15 visits & a free quarter pounder with okay paying for (2) not 1 additional patty but I couldn’t because I was penalized for earning my points working against me so I got 1 free quarter pounder with cheese add patty but the price of the patty doubled to $260 & I was thirsty got a soda which I never do & paid the same for a quarter pounder with cheese on my free night. Lower the price back to $1 just because this has really made a lot of people disgusted $6 for an add on patty that was $120 common it’s not like your food is healthy? I mean yeah it tastes like an addictive recipe in the food but again it’s so bad for us all so at least price it fairly when I’m clogging my arteries. Read moreThis was the worst McDonalds experience of my life. This aggravating experience began as an online order through UberEats. After placing my order, I called the restaurant asking them not to microwave the Hotcakes I ordered. The staff member on the phone refused my request. Which didnt make any sense. I explained to her that the HotCakes are already cooked. Moreover, that I simply did not want them placed into the microwave(Which does not cook food). The staff member became aggressive and I was ultimately hung up on. I tried to call the restaurant back 3 times to get the name of that employee, but they never answered. I called the Uber partner to refuse the order if it was not prepared the way I requested. I then proceeded to drive to the restaurant to see if my special request would be honored if I appeared in person. Danielle, the manager, who turned out to be the same staff member who was rude to me on the phone, again refused my request. Also, the same one who hung the phone up on me.
