My experience was doomed from the moment I pulled into the drive through. When I arrived the gentleman asked me to give him a minute and I said “no problem.” About 4 Min later he said “Hello” so I responded with, “Hello.” He then asked me to give him another minute. I said “sure thing.” When he came back and asked for my order I asked for the 5pc tender combo, spicy. He told me “we don’t have any tenders.” I was confused and said “wait, you don’t have any tenders?” And he said “no.” But as he said no another woman came through the loud speaker and said yes and then the man said ok 5 pc tender. Now I’m super confused. So I asked again, “you have tenders?” He said “yes 5 pc tender spicy.” He asked for my side, I told him fries. I then ordered the 5pc tender combo with 2 biscuits and 2 sides for my wife. When I got to the window the same man asked what drink I wanted. I told him Dr. Pepper. He looked at the machine and told me they didn’t have it so I got a Vanilla Coke. When I paid, my receipt was not at all what I ordered. The price was correct however it was not what I ordered. So when we got our food I pulled up out of the drive thru to check on everything. Now, for clarification, I ordered the 5pc tender meal, spicy with fried. My wife got the $10 box thing with 5 pc tender, mild and Mac and cheese with green beans. Her meal came with 2 biscuits, mine with one. When we checked the food, there were 7 tenders (that’s not even an option on the menu) and 2 biscuits in that box. We also had the Mac and cheese and green beans. But there was another box of 5 biscuits. I pulled around and was going to go inside when that same employee was coming up to my truck to greet me. He had a box and said that he gave me the wrong thing. So I asked what he had. He told me he had the 5pc spicy. He told me the box of biscuits I was holding wasn’t mine, so I went to give it back to him. But he told me to keep it. So I did. I decided to check one more time before we left, good thing. No fries. So I parked and went back in. There was a total of 3 people working. I think they were all taking turns cooking because no one was back there. There was my guy in the drive thru, a woman up front and another guy running around. Everywhere. I stood to the side (there was easily 5-6 ppl waiting for food inside) because I just needed fries so I figured I’d wait. While waiting I could see visible frustration on the girl that was working there. She needed to refund a family for their food because it was taking too long. Finally the guy running around asked if I was ok, I told him I just needed fries as I didn’t get them in the drive thru. He gave me my fries and off I went. When I got home, my chicken was not spicy and because of all the waiting around, all of the chicken was pretty soggy. Not the normal crispy that I’m used to. I often say I won’t go to this location because I feel like it is always chaos in this location. Instead I drive pretty far out of my way to the location on William Floyd parkway. On this nigh I figured, why drive. But you know what. I...
Read moreOn my first day the Indian dude asked me to ring up customers without no training. He was getting annoyed because i was struggling with using the cash register because it was my first time. The other manager arrived and she was also Indian and she was very unnecessary. Hes telling me to do one time, shes telling me to do the next. He wanted me to memorize the menu. When a customer would come in and ask for #13 on the menu, i can't look at the menu smh. (its never that serious). The next day i would work at drive thru (they only have one drive thru window). I would being taking orders, struggling to put the order in the system because their system is so unorganized, making drinks, putting their food in boxes, taking orders at the front and making their food ALL BY MYSELF while the managers yell at me for "being slow". I already being suffering from anxiety and this was making my anxiety even worst. The way i felt being there NO ONE should ever feel being at work. They refuse to train you. They didn't at least show me everything before making me do things. The Indian man had the nerves to say after 3 days of working there "im going to make you work from 5pm-7pm because your not getting it" -- the whole purpose of me working here is to get money. Me working 2 hours is what kind of salary? I take the bus to work. i walk 40 minutes to work and take the bus back. Buses over here in LI runs until 6pm. After 6pm your on your own. 6pm is pitch black outside in te suburbs. No sidewalks, a lot of trees and lack of streetlight. Me working 2 hours is enough money to pay uber for a week. -- After he said that, i decided to just not show up to work because those people don't deserve a heads up. I went on a job interview literally the next day a hour before i had to go to work at popeyes and got the job. After they said i was hired, i went back home. Working at popeyes was the worst/saddest...
Read moreWent last night (12.3.20) at 9pm and the doors were locked. I saw people using drive thru so I went thru as well. I told the lady I wanted the spicy chicken sandwhich meal and that I didn't want the sauce on it. She then tells me that their meat isn't spicy. I told her that I just didn't want the sauce on the sandwhich and she keeps repeating herself and is now yelling at me that this isn't spicy. I told her again that I don't understand what she meant because last time I was at this location I got the sandwhich and they held the sauce off like I asked with no issue whomsoever. She then tells me whatever and say its $4 and some change. I told her that can't be right because I wanted the meal. I get more attitude and am told to drive around. So I drove past the window and left because I was so angry at this point that I just wanted to leave with no issue. I have worked as a bartender and a waiter for years and I know how rude people can be sometimes. I can also understand if its busy and you are a ittle stressed out. I get all of that and can completely understand. I did not raise my voice at anypoint and I was very non-confrontational during this whole thing. I was the only customer in line at the window and there were no cusstomers inside. So I have no idea why I was talked down and treated like a little kid just by asking to not have sauce on a sandwhich. I have been here many times and I have always looked past the store being trashed on the inside. I have even patiently waited for long periods of time to either be greeted or to get my order. The way I was treated though was the last straw. Whoever owns this particular location should look at all of these terrible reviews this place gets and needs to do something to fix the issue. This is the longest post I have ever left on here but thats how truly awful my experience...
