First and last time going to Spiros. We went there on Saturday July 23rd. We had a large party of about 12 people, we were celebrating a family's birthday. First the good: the food was pretty good, steak was made as asked and very tasty. Drinks were ok. Watermelon martini I ordered was not bad. We sat outside on the patio due to amount of people in the party. Everything was lovely in terms of outdoor dining. That's where the compliments end. From the time I ordered a drink to the time we left, the waiter appeared to have some kind of issue with professionalism. He brought me my drink and it spilled all over the table, which is not the issue. It happens no biggie. He even said next drink is on me. Then came time with taking everyone's appetizer order he missed half of the table. And we had to call him back to get the rest of everyone's order in. I was still not asked if I had wanted an appetizer which was fine as well - I didn't want one. Then came time to order the entrée and again he missed several peoples orders where we had to call him back once again. Still no one at the table was making a big deal. Some of us at the table had to wait a little longer than the rest to get a drink but again, big party. We understood. The next drink I ordered was the watermelon martini - which I enjoyed very much but this time there was no watermelon in the drink. I aske the waiter - "no watermelon this time". He replies back with - " ok, take it easy". Huh, I was neither nasty nor making a deal about it. Just asked a simple question. A few minutes later, a dish of 5 watermelon slices appears but not in a kind gesture. In was brought in a very passive aggressive manner. I thanked him and said it was unnecessary and he was dismissive. Throughout the entrée portion, another member of the party hears the waiter also making comments under his breath and hears him calling either myself or the table annoying. Again, we make no big deal. We finish up, have dessert everything is good. We get the bill, everyone pays and he double charges one of the credit cards. The card should have been charged $120 he charged the card $240. (Maybe simple mistake, maybe not) We ask him to fix the situation which he did not look very happy about. Finally as the night is ending, we Ask the waiter if he would mind taking a picture of the group and makes a snarky joke of me moving a little to get out if the frame. To which I reply with sure, "maybe you want to make another fraudulent charge on one of our cards again also". I was clearly annoyed at him at this point. I write this long descriptive review because our bill was almost $1500 Not one person at the table was being difficult with their orders, even with the slight hiccups that occurred, we were still being very pleasant. The waiter displayed a lack of professionalism and inappropriate comments towards me the entire night. The passive aggressive manner he acted in, is the reason I'm writing this long review. For the prices and money our party spent, at the very least the service could have been professional and appropriate. As a person who has worked in many areas of customer service - you never treat your guests that way, nor do you make inappropriate comments under your breath for those to hear you. For that reason, I will not be returning to Spiros. While the food was good, the service was very upsetting and some what demeaning. Very disappointed. that about the service there. The inside outside patio was reserved for an event (that looked like a beautiful dining experience). 🦋 when you walk in the beautiful hall, you have a very welcoming experience . There’s a nice advertising video of the place. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Came here during happy hour-the host let us sit in the dining area instead of the bar, which I appreciated . 🦋Our server Ashley was attentive, checking in with us here and there. 🦋I tried their signature award winning drink: chocolate peanut butter cup (heavy) -my partner got the old fashioned 🦋I was surprised there was no fresh bread for the table…in such a nice restaurant… 🦋The food came in a timely manner. Every dish was cooked nicely and presented beautifully. -sliced tuna & avocado was delicious -vegetarian pita was good -I got the special of the day: sea bass Provençal- it was nice, but overwhelming and heavy. -my partner got the blackened salmon (it was simple).

Read moreHorrible experience. I have been coming to Sprio’s for years and they just lost a customer. I had made reservations last month for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday dinner on 1/28/2025. In the reservation notes I wrote “please bring out desert after dinner with Happy Birthday on the plate” A week before my reservation I called to change the count of my party from 2 people to 3 and confirmed with the manager my note which stated to bring out desert. The manager assured me it would be taken care of. We got to the restaurant 1/28/2025 for our reservation, as soon as we were seated we were given bread, I asked the hostess if she could please bring out the olive oil and vinegar, she never returned to our table. 20 minutes later a young man poured us more water so I asked him if he could bring us the olive oil and vinegar since the hostess never came back. He returned with an empty glass of olive oil and stated “we ran out of olive oil….” And continued to place the empty glass at our table. At the end of our meal the water asked if we were ready for the check, I said yes, expecting him to surprise my boyfriend with the desert. He literally came with the check…. No desert. I then got up and walked up to the hostess, I stated I was extremely upset since I put in the reservation notes to please bring out desert, also confirming with the manager. She said I’m so sorry I’ll take care of it. I sat back down expecting them to finally bring out the desert for my boyfriends 30th birthday. The waiter came out with the desert in a to go bag …. And said he apologizes and the desert is on the house…. I was beyond embarrassed. Later that night when called to speak with the manager, he gave not a care in the world. He kept saying “accidents happen…. We’re only human….” I asked if I would be compensated for my experience and he said “for what …. I apologized and the desert was on us…” I told him he lost a customer and again he could care less. I spent a decent amount of money here for me to be treated like garbage.
