Wow very disappointed. I had some pizza there once and it was very good so I figured I would order delivery. When I saw besides tip it was another 8 dollars for delivery, I did not want to order but everyone wanted it in house so I said ok. Bake clams, their tip is to squeeze the lemon on it, it didn't come with any, and I have had much better clams either way. When I opened the side spaghetti a smell came out that didn't make sense, ended up the tomato sauce was bad. There was absolutely no seasoning in it, very weird. Here is the major and dangerous finale. The container of spaghetti was put on top of the container of eggplant parmigiana. I was annoyed because all the cheese stuck to the plastic. But, I could get over that. What I didn't notice was the plastic cover had melted into the meal around the edges. I noticed when one of the kids pulled a piece of plastic out of their mouth. I grabbed the others and started going through it, after pulling out five choking size pieces I had to dump that also. Only edible items were the one slice of pizza and side salad. If I wasn't babysitting, I would have drove it all back. What a waste of over fifty dollars. ...
Read moreCame here with some family with the intention for a nice and delicious Italian dinner. Well, two out of the four of us ended up receiving that apparent luxury.
Remember the pizza and food being considerably good when we used to go a few years ago (4-5). That might still be the case regarding the pizza considering none of us ordered any. My brother and I's dinner entrees were undercooked and nauseating to eat. Upon realizing this we both reluctantly thought:
"Thank god our entrees came with a side-dish of pasta to make up for the fresh wound of ruined appetite."
We we're both sadly wrong upon discovering that both our side dishes of pasta were also somehow inedible due to either tangy unfamiliar tastes or being smothered in a barely-digestible sauce. Hell- somehow my garlic and oil spaghetti wasn't even bearable to put anywhere near my nose or taste buds.
So, if you didn't wanna read all that, read this to summarize my experience and thoughts:
'Ok' Italian setting with friendly wait staff. In my opinion and from my most recent experience, stay away from any food besides pizza. The bread appetizer was the only enjoyable and eatable part of the meal...

Yesterday was so much fun. My life came full circle and I got to chaperone a field trip to Pompeii Pizzeria !!!
I actually had the letter of working at this establishment many many moons ago! Vinny Vincent-Catherine Prestigiacomo does this field trip at no cost to the parents and opens the restaurant four hours so he could teach 21st graders how to make a pizza!!! Each kiddo received a Pompei T-shirt so they didn’t get their clothes messy. They’re very own mini pizza box with their name on it and somebody took a great deal of time cutting pepperoni in each child’s initials so that they were sure to get the exact pizza that they made.
if you use Pompei for your regular go to Friday night Pizza you need to because this is a family establishment that gives back to the community and has hands-down the best pizza not to mention rice balls!
Thank you Vinny, and the staff at Pompeii...
