Avicolli's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Camden

Since moving to Camden 5 years ago, we have always had a good experience with Avicolli's until recently. The last few times we have gone, the pizza has not been as high quality and they are constantly charging more than what the menu states. Their menu says a personal pizza is $5.95 and we ordered 2, which should total $11.90, yet we were charged $17.90. So, in the 6 months since we picked up your menu, a 10 inch pizza went up in price by 50%?!?!? My husband ordered a chicken Caesar salad, barely received a side salad and was charged $10.95. The garlic bread was soggy and our salads were very much lacking in freshness. And all of this was after my husband waited in line for an hour to pick up the food (after waiting 45 minutes to go to the restaurant). Almost 2 hours of wait time for sub-par, overpriced food. I don't know what has happened in the last year, but please bring back the old...

My husband like the sausage roll but he thought the sausage was minced too small. He said it had good flavor. I like the salad and the garlic bread. My baked raviolis was a huge disappointment. Does marinara taste like tomato soup and I asked a waitress if it was tomato soup and she says no one was marinara with cream. I know what marinara taste like and we know what tomato soup looks and tastes like.my husband agreed that it was definitely tomato soup. The waitress just walked away and didn't try to correct it. This is our second time there and probably our last. We were disappointed the first time as well.The first time my husband got a steak sub and again the steak was minced so fine that tasted like mush to him. I got a calzone and it was just okay. Nothing bad nothing great but definitely not worth...

Above avg food and decent pricing-no complaints on that, but we arrived early when only 2 others were seated. Later a crowd formed and we proceeded to wait for 20+ minutes for 2 cold wraps while dozens of others were ordering and some recieved sooner. Was surprised by this given their large staff.

I understand being busy but in this field you need to also be courteous and caring to families on schedules asking questions with extended wait times or simply at a point reimburse them. The patience and understanding of employees was not there.

Interior needs more space & updating. Turned our experience from dine in to dine out relatively fast. Unless you have nothing to do but kill time don't go here. Went here because it was reccomended by others, but was a just average nothing...
