Chifa Peruvian — Restaurant in Town of Carmel

Nice little place you could easily miss, but don't want to. I haven't had fried chicken that tasted this good since I went to Jolibee over the summer. The staff there is incredibly friendly. The owner and his son both gave me some samples of food while I waited for my food to be made. I ordered just plain drum sticks and mozz sticks. Everything was so crispy, fresh and full of flavor. I saw that they now had a Peruvian menu and I can't wait to try their Lomo Saltado. It's hard to find a good (or any) Peruvian restaurant near the Mahopac/Carmel area without having to go into Danbury or...

I'm pretty easy and I don't complain unless I spend the next day in the bathroom . The pork dumplings were good. Little hard , but good flavor . Wings were ok. The chicken was heavy with oil and just off. I've had better boxed frozen legs at 3am while whiskey drunk in a hunting cabin. And I don't hunt . Either I'm getting old or this chicken was on its last leg. Decent portion but below average fast food. I wish them success , but once is enough for me. Kimshi and oxtail...

I've been eating at the Vietnamese spot next door since they opened a couple of years ago, and just decided to try this place on a whim and holy FUCK it was good. These wings were SO crunchy, and so PACKED full of flavor, I was literally talking about it the entire time I was eating. I was fully in disbelief at how good they were. Absolutely recommend for anyone that really likes potent flavor, saucy, crunchy chicken. 10/10...
