Food never showed up. 50 dollars -hungry kids -nightmare... Called several times but it was after midnight and rang a liar the. Went o a taped message /advertisement hold thing and then after about 10 min someone picked up seemed surprised to h ar a voice and immediately hung up. No more hold music phone disconnected . Next day. Phone next day person who answered said he was district manager and could nit help me but manager (sounded like Rocky Ho but who knows ) would be in at 7 pm and would call me back. I started to tell him about the issue thinking that the district manager would be interested to know what is going on at the Mahopac location ... I was wrong ... at 830 pm. I was tired of waiting and quite frankly wanted them to make good on last nights order as that is what I promised the pizza craving zombies from th previous nights sleepover ..after calling 2 More times I finally got the manager (still unclear as he refused to spell his name but I think last name is Ho... whatever ) on the phone who said I was lying and that food was delivered although he refused to tell me who the the delivery person was or what time it was delivered but that does not. After as he got off that nonsense when I told him we have surveillance cameras (which we do ) and no one at all approached the house , driveway or front door anytime after I placed the order ) he then told me that he was not going to bring the food anyway and the best you could do was credit my American Express but the money that I had a debit it and I would see the refund in a certain meta-business days. I donāt remember how many business days he said but it doesnāt matter and that was over a month ago. He also got quite belligerent and actually threatened to call the police and when I asked what in the world he would tell them he said he was going to call the police and tell them I was annoying him simply becauseI had asked for the food to be delivered as the kids still wanted Dominos pizza although I donāt see
Now that we have GrubHub and Dominoās is no longer the only delivery choice available I would imagine Mr. Rocky Ho is going to start behaving in a more civil like manner when dealing with paying customers in the small town of Mahopac New York.
If anyone in authority actually reads these reviews Iād like my 50...

I have a large family so I wanted a good deal that would accommodate us. In the back of the paper menu I was given, was multiple coupons to choose from. I found the perfect coupon deal and began to place my order. After I placed my order, the employee told me that the coupon was from last year and I couldn't use it. Huh? Last year?? This is June. So why was I given this paper menu to look thru and most importantly, why did she just watch me go thru the coupons while I decided to order?? A little annoyed, I continued to place the same order as the expired coupon & was willing to pay the regular price. She confirmed my order with me (which would be 3 boxes) and told me it would be about 20 mins. No problem. No receipt was given at that time but I trusted the process. 20 mins later, my order was missing a box. Umm, I ordered 3 items, where is the other item? "Oh, I didn't know you wanted it" Now, I'm more than annoyed because she confirmed the order with me! Now she tells me I have to pay for the 3rd item because she didn't put it on the first order. So, I just paid almost $30 for 2 large pizzas ma'am & now another $8 for bread sticks?? She knew she was wrong because she offered me extra sauce for the bread sticks... smh....the pizzas & bread sticks were good but boy o boy did I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to have good experiences with the Mahopac location but in the last few months nothing but bad ones. The food is decent but I will never do business with them again.
Orders take way too long to arrive, delivery fee is now $5. Last nights order was "fast" at only an hour and a half. The prior one took 2.5 hours and they didn't include an item they supposedly ran out of. They didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell me, I didn't know until the driver showed up without it. It took me 3 weeks to get a refund for that item.
The whole point of ordering from Domino's is because they are supposed to be quick and convenient. Considering the last couple experiences and that the prices are rather high, I would much rather order from one of the local businesses where I get better food, faster...
