I was shopping with my ebt card and one of the items that is ebt eligible wasnât registering as a food/beverage item. The âmanagerâ, a woman with short medium brown hair and highlights, told me she doesnât know whatâs eligible and she didnât know what do and she was clearly pushing me to pay for it in cash when itâs an ebt item. I told her i wasnât going to pay for it and told her to take it off, she then told me she couldnât take it off told me to pay for it and then she would refund it. I didnât have time for all of that so ended up having to pay for it and leaving. I am on ebt for a reason and i have a budget, I canât afford to pay for the incompetence of this grocery store manager. This was a regular beverage item. She should know what items are ebt eligible if sheâs managing a GROCERY STORE, she also hardly showed concern in the fact that the item was being registered wrong in their system which is what pissed me off the most and tells me she wonât be proactive in fixing it for the future. REVISION One thing that is consistent about Stop & Shop is their lack of consistency. I stopped by a while ago for a California Turkey Panini. The sign in the case clearly states that the sandwich contains avocado (which is what makes it California), but there was no avocado to be found on the entire sandwich. At this point, they should probably rename it the "New York Turkey Panini" because it's pretty far from California. Or maybe the "Disappointment Panini â truth in advertising...

Whether itâs pick-up or in-store shopping, Iâm always experiencing some type of issue at THIS location alone. Iâve had a 5-star rating for over two years and this store has negatively affected my delivery rating just for having to cancel orders. I was made to wait 15 minutes just for someone to come out with my order being the only person in the parking lot for an online order. They deliver ripped bags to your car (when arrived to pick-up ONLY) leaving customerâs items to fall out all over my car. When asked for assistance they came and placed a single back on the ground and walked away refusing to re-bag my order. Store manager came and watched me bag the order by myself. Such a nightmare, if I could BAN this store from my app I would....
