I went to phams kitchen for the very first time today 4/18 with my sister's, mother, and niece. Phams has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's clean. I didn't know how to order and the wonderful woman at the register was more than patient and happy to help. I just ordered what my sister gets because pho is new to me. We all had a beef lemon grass bahn mi (top tier!) chefs kiss! Legitimately one of my favorite sandwiches ever! I've had those before. Those were about $8. We had beef brisket pho (just beef, noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, mint, cilantro, broth, jalapeños) absolutely delicious. To make it spicy add some Sriracha. Again chefs kiss! That was $16.50. my sister ordered some chicken spring rolls as an appetizer for us. They were delicious. I am not sure the pricing on those. The tears are $6.50. we got passion fruit and she got peach. They are good but unless you just want a sweet drink I'll pass on that next time just to keep my six dollars. I normally just drink water all the time. Lol they were good but I feel like a couple sips and then it's gone. Lol you leave full and satisfied. With enough to have some sandwich and soup for later. I was able to take my broth home and they gave us containers for our sandwiches and veggies. I will be coming here often. Lol great service. Great food. They do have high chairs for children. Lots of parking. Clean rest rooms. Clean restaurant. 10 out of 10 easy! I visited with my family the other day last Saturday today is 6|6. The young Caucasian lady at the counter seemed to have hated her life and job. She made the experience terrible and we didn't even want to order...
Read moreWe arrived and were able to walk straight up to the counter to order immediately. I was rather hungry as well as curious about their menu (this was my first time there) so I tried a shrii and steamed pork rice paper roll, a lemongrass beef bahn mi sandwich and a bowl of beef pho. Then we chose a table. The place a cozy size; not too big and not too small, with a neat and tidy decor. My rolls arrived shortly and they were well-stuffed and tender. The peanut sauce was plwntiy for dipping. Then came my bahn mi, almost right after the rolls arrived. They make their.own baguette and you can definitely tell. The roll was light and crispy- really a well made bread. The filling was warm and flavourful with just enough mayo and greens. I promptly made short work of it, savouring every crispy, meaty bite of it. The pho arrived right on cue. The combination of tender beef slices and meatball halves made for a nice substantial bowl of soup. After garnishing it with bean sprouts, lime juice and a very generous amount of basil, I had my first taste. The broth was rich and nicely balanced; it had a nice hint of sweetness to it. I was pleased with the amount of noodles too. The proprietor came over to ask how we were enjoying our food, which is a friendly and personal touch. We certainly told her how we enjoyed it and how we plan to return again. You'll be glad to have a meal at this Vietnamese restaurant- take my...
Read moreIt was our first time for real Vietnamese and yes, it is distinctly different from Thia. We loved it. I had the vermicelli bowl combo. It was packed with deliciously tender marinated pork strips, perfectly grilled skewered shrimps, and crispy pork rolls. All this over a huge bowl of perfectly done vermicelli noodles that you pour over with the supplied Vinagarette, mix it all together and chow down. Yum. Kev had the Banh Me grilled pork pattie. The baguettes are baked fresh daily in-house! So good. The pork was wonderfully spiced and tender, just a delight. I didn't even have time to get a bite, it was gone that fast.
We ordered a side of the crunchy rolls and Pham's rolls. Phams are summer rolls with soft rice paper wrapping and stuffed with your choice of protein, basil, mint and served with a delightful peanut sauce that complemented the fillings nicely. The filling was more than just lettuce too. Quite different than other summer rolls we've had. In a great way. The crunchy rolls were the best-fried rolls I have had anywhere. Stuffed to the brim with a perfect balance of veggies and pork bits.Super crunchy and not dripping with oil!! Highly Recommend. In this weather, nothing beats a big hot bowl of...
