Zorba's Texas Hots Inc — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

Definitely not like it used to be. I ordered the Zorba's special which is buy 6 get 1 free and the lady on the phone confirmed the standard special when I ordered. I added cheese and it came out to be $34 when I picked it up somehow... Slime dogs with cheese are $4.39 each per their menu.. so 6 should have came out to $26.34..; however, the lady charged me for 7 as you could see on the register and then said she had to charge for cheese too.. which means cheese cost about 10 dollars extra excluding the 3 dollars tax..?? Complete rip off.. they didn't even add the liquid cheese it was American Cheese slices.. so to add 1 slice on 7 dog was a $10 up charge.. I questioned it and was told that its due to the cheese... never again.. complete rip off since adding cheese excluded it from the "deal". Not worth the $34.00 i was charged especially for a slice of American cheese which up charged what would have been...

Not what it used to be, but then again. I'm not 20 years old anymore. That's all reflected in the prices of the food, I don't expect prices to stay the same as everything costs more. Though the service should be expected to always stay good and that was not the case. Girls taking my order were a little rude and even sighed and made comments when I ordered. The fries and shakes were good, my hot dogs it was like they didn't even try to follow my order. It's pretty hard to screw up cooking a hot dog on a griddle, so they went the route of ignoring my condiments order. Order one plain with nothing (was good) and another with lite ketchup,mustard, relish, and said I just want it NEAT with light use of those, NEAT. Must have said that 3 times. Dog came out lathered relish stacked on it, complete mess. IDK Grew up on this place, just expected more from this longtime staple...

My wife and I called ahead to eat the food there, and when we arrive we were SCOLDED, and told we were not supposed to call ahead, it is against their policy to serve you, eat in food, only take out when calling ahead??? What?? We were treated like little kids, very disrespect, and when I talked to the owner Tom the next day, he was very RUDE and told me, that is his policy and after eating there since 1975, not to come back and I was not welcome! What?? I can't believe the disrespect, and the rotten treatment, and being yelled at to get the "F" out of his place! Was totally unexpected and called for !
