JRECK Subs — Restaurant in Town of Cicero

I give it 3 stars because of past great experiences. This latest trip was TERRIBLE! The onions were awful & so was the service! The teens that worked the mid-day shift barely knew what they were doing & they acted as if us repeat customers were trying to rob the joint (several customers complained right then & there!) 1 employee remarked, "what are they gonna do? Fire me?" WTM! SMH! If I don't see the old crew in there, I won't be back in!

P.S: I'm doing this NOT to get anyone fired BUT to get Jreck's. EXCELLENT customer service back! I came with my sister, last Tuesday the 7th around 4:30 pm. There were 3 teens (looked so anyhow) (2 girls, 1 boy) working. Young guy made the statement. 2 other customers complained...

Man, I just LOVE Jreck subs. Its nothing fancy, its kind of a stark environment and they ALL look the same. No BS, no nonsense, just really good subs and the BEST sub rolls on the planet. The people there are always super nice and will break their own necks to hook your sandwich up the way you want it. They have a ton of fresh toppings and an actual grill you can see for hot food.(No Microwave meats at this joint), Two for Tuesday deals are a pretty good value to boot. Hit or miss. Depends who you get.

We went 1 week on Tuesday and they made our subs phenomenal.

Due to the delicious sub, we went back the next month on a Tuesday and whoever made the sub was awful. Very little meat, loaded I mean loaded ( I love veggies) with lettuce and tomato that when I picked up the sub it fell apart. I’m glad that I asked for the pepper sauce on the side that day.

Quality of food is good. Bread is always fresh and taste good. I like their toppings. Staff is usually friendly....
