When me and my lady first pulled up to the joint, I didn't know what to expect. The building looked very lively and the little turtle fella, posted outside the building looked friendly, too. Should've gotten a picture with him..
When we went inside, though; OH. MY. GOODNESS! BEAUTIFUL sports atmosphere. Loved the display with Sabres legends Rick Martin, Gilbert Perreault & Rene Robert jerseys. The London Fletcher framed jersey was also brilliant. This place felt like football on the 1st day of Autumn with clear skies and 70° weather.
Then....here comes the fun part. The food...was...fantastic. Absolutely fell in love with the crispy Tex Mex egg rolls. The Cajun sauce was to have an aneurysm for. The Mozzarella sticks were thick and seasoned well. The Louisiana crab dip was awesome. Never had it before. Incredible. Not to mention, they serve chips with their appetizers. Way to appease the fat folk, Tully's. Great thinking. My lady finished off with the Chicken Alfredo. I got the Chicken Caesar salad and the New York Reuben. Listen. When I say that was the best corned beef and salad paring I have ever ingested, I DO NOT say that lightly. Absolutely phenomenal.
Would DEFINITELY come to this place again. One of Western New York's most UNDERRATED eating venues without question. Quality service as well. The staff was very endearing to us. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful people and beautiful food to boot.
Rating: 9.2/10 (P.S. Widen out your beer variety a bit. Good choices. Just give us a little more. Eh, I'm just a drunk. Don't mind me....
Read moreI was just in your Location on Main and Transit. I go regularly. I was seated and got Alyssa for my server. She came over and introduced herself and we were ready to order she asked about drinks we said what we wanted for drinks and immediately were told we couldn't order any alcoholic drinks until we ordered food we were offered water and she drifted away. I said why couldn't we order food and drinks at the same time. Sha came back to the table as she must of overhead me and said I yeah we could do that. She took my food order and the order of the person I was with she took the drink order of the person I was with and walked away. I said I guess I don't count. Then comes back and says what did you want to drink in an anooyed tone. I said I am actually debating whether I am staying or not. At this time she got all defense and said did I do something wrong I said yes and we left. I went to another establishment near there ordered food and drinks and they will get my 100+ dollars. I called the manager and she seemed to not care about anything other than getting my name and address to send me gift cards. A manager should be engaged in their business and be there to handle the problem right then. I will NEVER be back I hope you go out...
Read moreServer was very good. Very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Louisiana Crab dip which was wonderful. Everyone seemed okay with their food except me. I ordered the smothered chicken platter. Chicken was pretty flavorless. It was sitting in a watery juice, barely grilled. The chicken was served more like Brushetta chicken, topped with peppers, onions and ALOT of diced tomatoes. Perhaps it's my fault for not reading the description. I've always had smothered chicken that has been seasoned and marinated, grilled and topped with grilled mushrooms, onions and mozzarella cheese. The mashed potatoes were cold. The Cole slaw was probably the best part of the meal, however it was served in a 4 oz. portion cup. Just a note:. Diabetics deserve more drink choices than Diet Coke, unsweetened tea or water We were seated at 5:25 and we're not served until 6:30. Hard to take with 2 small children. We did appreciate the discounted children's meals. Both had pasta with sauce. We had to ask the waitress for more sauce. Once we stirred the pasta, there was very little sauce or flavor to it. We're big fans of Tully's. Unfortunately, this location can in no way compare to the Tully's on Niagara Falls...
