Good evening. I just had to rebook for another hotel this evening after leaving the first hotel. The hotel at fair Ridge was the most horrifying experience I’ve ever had in a hotel and very traumatizing. The first room they offered me the lights did not work They gave me another room in which was located on the first floor. The door lock did not work appropriately. It would lock but if I wiggle the door it would easily come open. I did not feel safe so I had put a chair in my backpack Against the door in case somebody came in I would hear them. Also, the window locks did not work in the windows were quite large without screens. Remember, I was on the first floor. So I was trying to put something in the window slide to provide a security. The worst part of the whole ordeal is that when I went to bed I saw one bug on the bed in which I thought was just a fluke being Summer the bugs are out. I shoot it away and crawled into bed. As I was laying there in the dark looking at my phone I was starting to feel very itchy and uncomfortable. After about 20 minutes I got up and turned on the lights. The bed was crawling with Bugs! Not one or two but probably 30 that I could see. One of them looked like a large red round tick and when I kept smacking it it would not die. Then I pulled the sheets back further and there were many more all different sizes. And then I lifted the pillow up to find three or four more just crawling everywhere. Needless to say I am very traumatized. My backside has been bitten by bugs and I am very itchy. I had to jump up and throw all my clothes and belongings into my bags in a hurry and run out of there. I went to the front desk and told them that my bed was covered in bugs and politely asked him for a refund on my deposit. The gentleman at the desk apologize and gave me a refund at my deposit. I will send you a screenshot. He said I would get a refund as well however I was told by the second hotel I should call you directly in order to receive the refund from Fairbridge. So here is 12:30 in the middle of the night and I have to get up at three to head to work. I am at the new hotel which is very clean that I also booked it through Agoda. I am bitten by that bugs on my bottom side. I am itchy. I am tired. I am in traumatized and I am sure I will have nightmares if I even fall asleep tonight. I have attached some videos and pictures of the Fairbridge Hotel experience.

I only stayed here because I needed a place to sleep for one night. And while I had low expectations, this place really went above and beyond to somehow still make me shake my head. First of all upon check in I was told they needed to place a $60 hold on my card. I had already paid for the room. I was exhausted so just agreed to it. The next day after I checked out I suddenly had yet another $60 hold charged that morning. So $120 was being held after paying for my room. The charges did come off a day later but that was still an annoyance. As far as the room goes, immediately opening the door it smelled like damp cigarettes. Yet they have a sign saying they’ll charge you $250 if you smoke in the room. The bed was super springy and the foot of the bed had springs resisting to pop right out. The blanket was a thin hotel curtain material and I found myself searching for a rod channel just to see if it really was a curtain. Our bathroom was ridiculous. The door didn’t have a latch! The knob was extremely loose and there was nothing in between each side. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet so it slid around every time you went to sit. It also had weird stains on it. The shower was also stained however it was hot and had good pressure. The room had several noticeable signs of disrepair as well. Now I know this is a cheap room but there should be standards. The owners clearly don’t take pride in their establishment and they won’t even fix something as cheap as a doorknob. I would not stay here again or recommend anyone else does. They only good I have to say about it is the location. But it’s worth paying a little more to get something nicer than this.

Was looking for a reasonable place to stay on frequent weekend trips to the Buffalo area. While inexpensive, this is not the place. Location is great as you can easily get to other areas of Western New York. As we approached, the paint was peeling off the exterior walls. You are then greeted by signs threatening additional charges if you enter with dirty boots. And then it gets even better. There's an odd smell of undetermined origin upon entry. Your check in takes place with the clerk behind a thick panel of security glass with a small slit for passing papers and another small hole for I imagine handing out things like an extra roll of toilet paper. I felt like I was in a sketchy cheque cashing place. The room left a lot to be desired. The room was very dated, furniture damaged, and extensions cords everywhere. The bathroom looks like it is straight out of the 70s, with stains on the shower curtain, cigarette burns on the counter and a bottle opener/corkscrew attached to the door frame. What is very interesting that there was not one, but two, tissue holders but neither had tissue in it. The shower's water pressure was virtually nonexistent and both drains were just holes with no catches in them (very creepy). The vent was disgustingly dirty and the towels were thread bare. The bed, a king sized, had three tiny pillows on it. The fitted sheet must have been a queen size as it barely fit my side and didn't reach my husband's side at all. There was an odd mattress pad in the center of the mattress as well but I was not about to investigate. This is definitely not a hotel that I would recommend.

PLEASE READ.

Where do I even start…. My buddies and I flew out for the broncos bills game and decided to stay here since it was one of the few places that offered a three bed, bedroom. Let’s just dive right in.

Upon arrival, only 1/5 of the hotel is actually open. There’s barely any signage saying where to go in, and we almost thought we were scammed into an abandoned building.

There’s no elevators in the building. To get to the second floor, you have to walk up these stairs that you’re almost certain you will fall down because they are only 4 inches deep.

The ceiling is falling apart and the whole hotel reeks of smoke and wet dog or wet something… gross.

The key cards didn’t even work and we had to go back down just to get another set that would work.

Nothing works. Tv, heater, alarm clocks….nothing.

The showerhead was installed for people under 5 feet. We all had to crouch to just get a shower in.

There’s whole building is so cold, that you have to hope to god you don’t get frostbite when you walk into the tile bathroom… that barely fits one person. We were forced to use the bathroom with the door open because of how small it was.. pretty awkward views.

God forbid you want to sleep. The airport sits in the direct flight and landing path of the airport… so you hear EVERYTHING. I’m pretty sure I could hear the pilots announcements to avoid the hotel.

The bed are awful. Almost watched my buddy fall between the “headboard” and mattress because everything is so flimsy.

The whole trip, when we’d leave or arrive, there’s some dude on the second fooor who just sits in his window… and stares at you the entire time. No matter what time day or night… we were told the second floor was empty besides us.. another red flag we ignored.

The tub/shower combo sucked because I had to stand in 3 inch deep used water from my buddy who showered before me. Clean the pipes once in a while.

We opened a window to get some fresh air, and almost fell out the second story window because there are no safety precautions. The window just totally opens to nothing below.

There are NO trash cans. We found old trash, and other gross items in the room when we checked in. Had to use a fast food bag to consolidate our own trash.

The only reason why I gave 1 star, was because of the nice lady who was working the desk when she checked us in. She’s the only reason she gets a gold star. I hope she finds work somewhere better because I don’t know how she does it.

Stay away from this hotel. It’s not worth the $120 a night. It should be $10 a night because of how awful it was.

Also, a pair of my men’s boxers went missing, no I’m not joking… and whoever took my half eaten bag of M&M’s.. I...

This was the worst hotel I've ever been in. I would give it zero stars or negative stars. We have been moving and were so exhausted. While waiting to move into our new apartment we needed somewhere to stay for a few nights. I wish I had seen the terrible reviews before I purchased our room. I was so tired I just wanted to shower and rest. Upon entry I was met at the desk by Eswar. He was extremely rude and dismissive. He kept cutting me off. Told me do you want to check in it should I cancel?! He was just so rude after the few days I had just had I literally wanted to bust into tears. He should not interact with customers as he has no people skills and does not know how to speak to people properly. He should not have a job talking to people. Bewildered I said well we're here I guess we will stay. We got to the room. It was filthy. Not to mention outdated. There were stains and dirt out what looked like blood on the walls and ceiling. Dirty lamp shades. Dirty dressers and garbage and old straws on the floor. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Burn stains on the tub and bathroom sink and even the bed sheets!! The bathroom was unclean. Hair on the counter. The toilet was leaking all over the floor. It kept running all night. Broken tiles. The tub floor was stained yellow. The mirror was dirty. The carpet was so filthy. There were ants crawling around. We woke up with bites. The fridge wasn't even cleaned out. Then I really wanted to cry. We went out and got cleaning supplies and bedsheets and pillow cases. I then, already bewildered and exhausted had to scrub the room clean myself. Strip all the bedding and make the beds with the bedding I bought. Worst experience of my life. Then add the planes flying by all hours day and night. There were people waking around in their underwear. Black mold in the I've machine couldn't use the ice. I felt very dirty and very unsafe being there. The only redeeming quality this place had was Melissa. She was there in the morning when I woke up. She was polite and helpful and apologetic and sincere and just darling. The only thing that made our stay there worth the hassle and the horror. Eswar could really and should really take a page from her book. I wish I could leave you the pictures we took of the room when we arrived. Long story short DON'T STAY HERE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Pay extra and stay in...
