D’oro Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

So I am a huge pizza critic in my own way so as far as food goes for I ordered was mozzarella sticks, medium pepperoni pizza, and garlic knots So for my rating on this place Garlic knots: they were cooked amazing and had the right crunch with perfect amount of garlic on them the flavor profile was robust and perfect in harmony with the other ingredients. The marinara sauce was beyond my expectations and bonded amazing with the garlic knots perfectly. Mozzarella Sticks: the cheese was the only good quality to them I'm afraid to say but that's my opinion on that. To kick it up a notch you should use egg wash to bond flour and bread crumbs to it combine it with salt pepper and a hint of garlic powder that will bring an explosive flavor to them. 3.The pepperoni pizza: while definitely robust and full of flavor I recommend that you go a little bit thinner and give it a few more minutes to cook to give it a crisp refreshing flavor on top of the robust flavors that would be awesome I hope my review helps and enables you guys to continue to make...

I had a sicilian slice once while I was passing by and was excellent!!! On a different day I decided to get two sicilian pies to take home and I had to wait around 40 minutes, (the place was barely occupied) The dough was almost 1-1/2" thick, and the mozzarella did not taste the same as the first time. I was dissapointed.

I was not expecting to wait for 10 months to receive a response to my review. For a smaller size pizzeria, the selection is pretty varied. They have an amazing fresh mozzarella a la vodka (really good saucel, a really great tasting caprese (fresh tomatoes). The buffalo chicken is spot on, the plain is very good with great sauce; it's tangy and not sugary. These people are not cheap with the ingredients. Really top notch ingredients, piled on. Nothing is skimped on. The two young women behind the counter, Victoria and Karen are the epitome of hospitality and customer service.
