Second Visit. First visit three weeks ago- was fairly good. Staples: Pad Thai, Beef, and Shrimp rolls. Second Visit, So disappointing! Called in an order, and person taking order, barely spoke English. When I asked her how much, she gave me an incorrect amount. I brought it home to find out it was completely wrong! Too late to return, I called the next day to let them know, and the same waitress (Blond Female), told me, that I placed the wrong order! I asked to speak to the owner and she just hung up the phone. I called back and the same. Sorry but rude, inefficient staff can drive (the same customers willing to give a new place a try) away. After the owners empathic apology, my team gave this place another go. This time, in person for a sit quick sit down meal. Here is their synopsis. No one else was in the restaurant at the time. The same server, struggled to understand the order. After some eyerolling and deep exhales from the same server, she readback the order, incorrectly. It was gently corrected and the food finally came out but was sloppily served. The food was lacked flavor and again the service was poor. The server spent more time on her phone than checking in with the only table. We had to ask for water, napkins and our tea. Poor hygiene too, wiping tables and bringing food without sanitizing her hands! Sorry Ms. Bello but offering patrons, extra food to substitute for poor, sloppy, rude and service is not a solution. Customers should not have to insist on speaking to owner/managers if they have properly trained staff -or if they kept on eye on the front of the house. (Owner was never seen). If you spoke to your staff, they surely did not listen. Sadly, this worker is putting both customers and your business at risk, Seriously Yelpers, save your money and protect your health. There are plenty of good, clean, friendly nearby authentic Thai places that will be happy to serve you...
Read moreWe ordered takeout this time but have also eaten at Zabb Thai Kitchen. We don't live that close, but it's worth the trip for us. The owner is friendly and happy to talk about her food and authentic Thai flavors. We are always worried she won't make our food authentically spicy (the way she makes it for herself), but so far when we have asked in person and in online order notes, she has delivered on the request, which makes this the only place we've found that will make a dish anywhere near this spicy! She did double-check with me when I arrived before bringing me my online order one time. The spice level never takes away from the perfect balance of other flavors. The owner told us when she eats out, she has to bring her own spicy peppers in her purse, and she seemed so delighted to share the way she likes her own food. The red curry beef Thai spicy is the absolute best we've ever had it, and we can barely stop ourselves from overeating the Pad Kee Mao Gai (Drunken Noodles with chicken) Thai spicy. We also love the Thai Spicy Basil Sauce. Our daughter said tonight that the Pad Thai with shrimp (ordered regular spice level) was the best Pad Thai she's ever had. I won't even be offended that she prefers it over the pretty tasty version I made at home once! If you go in person, be aware that it's really -- or at least often -- a one-woman show in the kitchen, so it may not be the fastest (although it isn't unreasonable): plan to relax and enjoy your time. It's absolutely worth it, even if you don't like/order dishes as...
Read moreMy first restaurant review on Google and WOW, what a way to start.
I know my Thai food and this place is 101% AUTHENTIC.
It's delicious food made by someone who understands the principle of Thai food is Salty, Sour, Spicy & Sweet (and creamy for curries).
This is a ONE WOK kitchen, meaning everything is prepared fresh and when the restaurant is busy, larger groups may take some time for their food to be prepared.
Be patient, order a Thai beer (Leo is my favorite) and relax. Chat with the owners, they are really, really friendly.
I visited with an average sized group and one or two had some food allergies which the kitchen handled PERFECTLY. They even advised that they would clean all the equipment to ensure there was no cross-contamination. Yes, this slows the food delivery, but we all agreed, this was the sort of attention to detail normally provided from high-end 5 star restaurants.
Satay, Curries, Whole Fried Fish, Larb Gai, everything was like eating in a high-end restaurant in Thailand.
This place is small, so if you know you're going, I suggest you make a reservation so as not to be disappointed.
I wish I lived closer or visited this area more often, this would be my number one go to restaurant.
