As I was walking in the employee that was handling the front counter was picking up trash from the lobby. She then proceeded to put a tray away and went to the register to take my order. After she took my order she went and made my drink, then proceeded to help drive thru bag a couple of orders. She put my food order to the side after she noticed that there weren't anymore hash browns. She proceeded to the refrigerator and took about 8 hash browns out of the bag with her hands and put them in the basket and then in the fryer. I asked her if I was waiting on a hash brown, and she said yes. I told her thank you but no thank you, I would just take my incomplete order and go. She did not use any gloves, tongs, or wash her hands and she was just picking up trash from the lobby area and then touched all of those hash browns. I was so grossed out. I did not get her name because I was so angry. I just left, these employees need to be trained better on food handling processes. However, the DOE appears to support this continuous lack of professionalism in the Spring Valley location that has again, on not that surprisingly amount of complaints. The employees there aren't representing the iconic McDonald's experience. The experience was so horrible that I had to ask for a refund. In doing so, that's when I discovered that I was charged for a sundae and not the beverage that I ordered. The manager accused me of having the wrong receipt (the last four digits of my debit card are on the receipt). She became hostile and flustered to the point where she was unable to manage her team and serve customers. The cashier of record on the receipt also had an attitude and was dismissive as well.
