Billy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

This is the place to be for good food while being around good people. I finally got to try it out for the first time and I was beyond impressed. This is a family owned and operated business and they are passionate about their craft.

My girlfriend and I tried the Double Billy Burger with Bacon. I got the works on mine. I can’t put the first words out of her mouth but it was something like “*%$k yeah” on the first bite. Both of us feel this is the best burger we had in a while (don’t tell her dad!). The burger was made perfectly. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. Bacon was spot on crisp. And we really enjoyed the brioche bun to give it all around great texture. We ordered fries and onion rings which both were made to perfection. The batter used had the perfect crisp and taste. I’ll have to decide next time which side I like best (can’t wait to try the fried pickles). The side of Billy sauce was the right call. Next time we are trying the Chicken sandwiches.

We went to Galleria 7 with intentions of getting BBQ but they were out of what I wanted so we decided to give the new burger place a try. Boy am I glad we did! The owner was working and told my fiancé and I that it would be the best burger we had ever had, which of course the owner would say something like that...except for the fact that it was literally the BEST burger I have had in my entire life. My family and friends all know that growing up, if given the opportunity I would have eaten a cheese burger daily, so I have had my fair share of cheese burgers. The burgers are made in house with a delicious blend of beef and spices, then grilled to juicy perfection! Add crisp bacon, melty cheese almost like a grilled cheese and dill-icious pickles!
