Heard good things so my wife and I went today for lunch. Arrived at 12:25. Place had 1 group of 6 and 3 other tables of 2 guests each. Seated and giving 1 menu. Owner came back and took our drink order. They offer water, Coke or Diet coke only. Still only one menu and no napkins, silverware mind you were now 5 mins at the table. Waitress looks absolutely confussed in the background. 5 (ish)mins later she comes by and takes our orders. Comes back with napkins and silverware. 20 mins pass and a couple got up and asked where their food is as its been 45 mins and they now have to leave for an appointment. They were told politely that their food will be ready in a few more mins. They left. Fast forward to 1:05 I ask where our food is and we're also about to leave. The waitress went to check and came back and said 4 more mins. Ok we waited this long. 8 mins later (yes I counted)the food came. My wife had the Procuitto and eggplant and roasted red pepper sandwich. (Highly recommend it was very good). I ordered the Cuban. The fries were also good and priced fairly at 2.99 a basket. My sandwich was not to my liking as they make it differently, they include some kind of salami. I couldn't eat it as it tasted funny to me and I did not realize there was salami. Asked the waitress for the check told her that my sandwich was not to my liking. The owner comes by and asks why, I told her it tasted funny/different and I could only eat a quarter of it (2 bites). I wasn't looking nor did ask for a comp or anything. She appologized, but than she had to turn around and almost demand what and why specifically I didnt like. I told her and she argued with me that this is the "traditional" way of making it. (It's not in all places the salami is an optional item.) She than says " Well I wish you told that to us earlier" To wit I replied "I would of if someone actually came around to check on us". That prompted a profuse and sincere appology and a full meal comp. Maybe another staff member for the future. I am up in the air...

Read moreWow a nice spot I found today, I come to this plaza almost every week for an appointment. Seen this place a few times and deiced to give it a try. Pretty glad I did, right off the bat they had a beer cheese special as I walked by and I have a thing for beer cheese so I went in. Greeted almost immediately, asked to sit at the bar. The staff was super friendly and chatted me up a bit even though she was busy. Got some fries with my pretzels and beer cheese, I wouldn’t say anything was outta this world but it was pretty good especially seeing as I only spent $11 on the whole thing, I’ll have to come by and try some of the other food. Overall this is a great place to come for lunch...
