Pinto Thai Kitchen is a cozy little spot tucked away off Central Ave, with the added bonus of good parking - always a plus! It's an ideal place to swing by for takeout or enjoy a casual meal with one or two friends. From what I ordered, I especially enjoyed the Fresh Roll and the Thai Fried Rice Dinner (Beef) - both flavorful and satisfying. I also tried the Veggie Gyoza, which was tasty, although it's not something I usually order when visiting a Thai restaurant. Still, it was well-prepared. What stands out is the friendly staff and the fact that they encourage you to order directly from them rather than using third-party apps like Grubhub - it's more affordable that way, and you're supporting them directly. ------------------------------------------------------ What I ordered: - Fresh Roll - Vegetable Gyoza - Thai Fried Rice Dinner (Beef)

What a disappointment!!! I was looking for a good noodle soup place and found Pinto Thai Kitchen. Unfortunately, the good reviews were from past management. I was so dissatisfied with the beef noodle soup. They packed the noodles and the soup together in one container. By the time I bought it home which is 15 minutes away, the noodles sucked up most of the soup and the noodles broke into little pieces. It was not enjoyable. Every noodle place I ordered take out, they separate the noodles and the soup into 2 different containers. I will never order from Pinto Thai Kitchen ever again.

I've waited for over a year to have Chef Chai's cooking again. Today I had the Pad See Ew. The noodles had a nice Char flavor, the chicken was tender and the dish was not greasy. A Thai iced tea was very much appreciated on a warm October day. The restaurant has about 9 tables and seats about 26 customers. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The menu is very large with both Thai and Korean dishes. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's a great place for both lunch and dinner. Parking and entrance are available behind the restaurant off Woolard Ave.

I was in Albany for work, and the Thai place I usually visit was closed. I searched for "pineapple fried rice" near my hotel, and this place had the best reviews. After work, I picked up Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef at spice level 4 (I usually order 5 at home in Wisconsin). The level 4 was perfect—full of flavor without the sweats. The taste was amazing, and there was so much food that I had it for both lunch and dinner the next day.

I went back four days later before heading home and ordered the same dish. I had a pleasant conversation with a friendly person at the front desk. The only negative thing I can say is, "Why didn't I find this place sooner?" The prices are good, the portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the food is AMAZING. I suggest you eat here at least once a week. Their menu is vast, and I'm sure everything on it is as good as my...

I cannot say enough about the food at Pinto. My wife and I have gotten two takeout orders from there, recently, and are hooked on their food. We have tried the Key Lime Shrimp which is surprisingly delicious, the Fried Calamari, very good also, but where we were really blown away was with the authenticity of their Thai dishes. I have had the Nam Khao Tod salad twice now - spicy and fresh flavors to die for. The Tom Yum Pla soup is clean tasting and complex with a balanced heat. They also serve the best beef Bul Go Gi that either of us has ever had. Both the radish and cabbage Kimchi are the best we have eaten (and we are never without kimchi in our fridge). Pairing all this with their gracious service, Pinto has become one of our favorite restaurants. Looking forward to taking a deeper dive into their menu in...
