The Rock wall Pub & Grub — Restaurant in Town of Cornwall

We've gone to Rock Wall a few times now. At first it seemed like a great small pub. Customers were friendly, the bartenders were too. We've come to realize not all is so great. First, they add 4 percent charge when a card is used instead of cash. They don't tell you that. You have to compare your bill to what is charged. The service there is very slow. We waited while the bartender chatted with all the other customers at the bar, then washed all the glasses, did something with the register, took beer inventory, told the runner what to bring and then, after all that about 15 minutes or so later, our drink orders were taken. We started off with the wings, which I will say the sweet Thai chili wings were very good with a nice spicy kick. We also had the garlic Parmesan wings which were just tasteless (blue cheese couldn’t even save them). My uncle got their pasta which was pretty much cold and when we sent it back it came back too quickly which led me to believe they just microwaved it, I mean that’s something you see outta kitchen nightmares. Loved everything we ordered. The wings were delicious with the Ricky Bobby sauce. Definitely recommend their concoction if you are a wings person. The potato skins had nice large pieces of bacon🥓 and perfectly cooked. The truffle fries and the crab cake wrap were so, so good. Very good margaritas. An amazing bar tender that checked on us very often even though we sat outside. I love how attentive she and the cook were. They have great varied selections for their daily specials. Awesome prices.
