I don’t typically leave reviews, but I really just had to for this one! I have a seven month old boxer puppy who is full of energy and loves and wants to play with anyone or anything that moves. We have an acre and a half of property and entertained putting up a wooden fence, but decided (truthfully mainly because we couldn’t even get on anyone’s calendar for months and this dog was running me ragged chasing him outside on a leash) to explore invisible fence options. The thought of it gave me a lot of anxiety because my pup is not treat driven in the least and incredibly hard to train. He goes crazy when he sees other dogs and people because he is so desperate for fun. I started by asking around and I kept hearing people say dogwatch Dave changed their life. So I started reading my own reviews about it and called and spoke with a woman named Tippie who was fantastic and made me feel really comfortable about the process. Fast forward two weeks and we are on day five of the training process and he is already off leash and ignoring everybody who walks by. I am completely amazed! Dave was very informative and super easy to communicate with. I even called him on a Sunday morning on his cell with questions and he was happy to help! We are only at the beginning of our dog freedom journey and without sounding dramatic, it is life-changing lol. A few acquaintances I know went with a company called invisible fence and we discussed the differences (everything from product inclusion to customer service) and they are all regretting that they didn’t know about dogwatch Dave sooner. Dave is the nicest guy and super responsive! I texted him at 10pm with a question, didn't expect a reply until the next morning and he replied right away! From the moment we called to set up the appointment our experience was wonderful! Friendly service on the phone and friendly service in person!

We have a new puppy and tried the Halo system, but it was awful in our woods. The boundaries were never consistent and getting help consists of scheduling zoom calls which don't always work so basically you are on your own and we couldn't take the chance with a new puppy.

Physical fences were outrageously expensive (one place quoted us $17K for 250 feet)! We decided to ask for recommendations for an electric fence and EVERYONE recommended Dave and now I see why!

We called on a Monday or Tuesday and had an appointment for Friday! They were constantly in contact with us and have remained that way even after installation! That's a huge plus in this day and age when people seem to vanish after the sale!

I'm thrilled that we found this great local company and very happy with how reliable it works and how well the puppy is doing with it! Our senior dog is 14 and he's doing great with it too! One warning and he quickly turned around and headed back...

I couldn't have had a more positive experience with this company. From the start they laid out their proposal clearer than any other dog fence company I had dealt with (and I dealt with several), and their price is lower than/competitive with any of the companies. System setup was customized to our situation, the installation crew was very professional and courteous, and "Dogwatch" Dave personally took us through training and made sure everything was crystal clear. System has been in place for several months with all flags removed, and works like a charm; our minds are completely at ease. Follow up customer service has also been outstanding. A note to potential "Halo" customers: prior to this system we had tried a Halo collar, which I would advise against (with the possible exception of a very large property (25+acres), where installing a physical fence may not be practicable). In my experience the Halo collar will NOT keep a willful dog within your property (for us resulting in an unfortunate "chicken incident"), and the boundary/location of the dog is NOT accurate (sometimes the collar was beeping while dog was inside our house).
