Vic's Deli — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

I am not sure if the deli is under new ownership but

1. the food tastes good but some of the portion sizes don’t make sense. I got an omelette for $6 and I swear it was a 2 egg omelette … 3 bites and it was gone! It didn’t come with toast… had to pay $2 extra (?!). In the past, I have gotten an omelette here and it came with toast and home fries and it was probably 3 eggs
2. it took an extremely long time to make the food - I think we were the first customers of the day, should’ve been quicker
3. they have the most random supplies and yet it looks like it’s all being depleted and not restocked (hence maybe new ownership). there just is no continuity...

If you’re someone who enjoys mediocrity look no further. This is the best place for bland food and slow service. My eggplant wrap had ingredients on it that I didn’t ask for, and my husbands chicken cutlet wedge had zero flavor. Even though the place was next to empty, it took the woman working behind the counter a solid 10 minutes to even acknowledge our presence and hand us our order - which we had called in BTW. Needless to say, we won’t be returning unless there’s a zombie apocalypse and every deli closes, except...

Terrible terrible terrible, countless mistakes, order is never ready on time even when calling 30 min in advance. Lady who answers phone does not know what she is doing. Example : came in today order the usual scrambled egg with sausage and one pancake and price is 5 and change ( usually) today she was trying to charge me 8.50. She was trying to charge me full price for three pancakes for 4.50 but I only ordered 1. Not cool. Doesn’t even apologize. I’ll take my business else...
