Hi, This is regarding my first and worst experience with Walmart. Today (on 21st June'19) I visited Walmart store located at 3133 E Main ST Mohegan Lake NY 10547 at around 1:30 PM. I purchased Apple Smart Watch Series 4 with Serial Number G99Y1X68KDH0 at 1:47 PM (Transaction ID-309172640278865 dated 21st June'19). I didn't notice that the Box was delivered to me without Apple seal packing. Proof of this is the Red & Yellow sticker pasted by Walmart on one side of the box itself. Note that sticker is on box and not on the apple seal. After doing little bit more shopping in Walmart, I visited nearby Bestbuy store where the same watch was available at 50$ lower price. I came back to Walmart at around 3:20 PM to return the same. The moment lady at return counter opened the box I was shocked to see that the watch was damaged and packed cunningly to avoid sign of any damage. The strap was also cut with some sharp object. Some portion of strap was left in the watch itself and some portion was lying just below the watch. Lady called up store manager (Jane) who refused to accept the return without even properly inquiring about the case. I was advised to call Apple for replacement. To my surprise, Apple informed that as per their records this watch was sold one month back in May'19. I was completely shocked as the box carry walmart sticker showing date as 18th June'19 whereas Apple says it was already sold in May'19. I went back to the return counter but no one was ready to listen to me as the store manager had already given her verdict. I called up customer care just to be told that store manager's decision is final. I am going back to India now (22nd June) with very hard feelings about Walmart.
I believe if this message reaches to Walmart Leadership, they will definitely listen to the voice of customer and compensate the customer appropriately. In addition, strong action shall be taken against the irresponsible, unprofessional & rude behavior of the employees of this particular store.

   Read moreDecent enough Walmart.
I've been to Walmarts in multiple states (unsure if I should even admit that sad fact) and while there's some decent ones out there, most of them are usually putrid.
If you've been to one Walmart, you've basically been to them all as far as prices and stock, with some small differences. The shelves were decently maintained and they had what I needed, so I can't complain.
The same issues that most other locations have are evident here - from bad, unfriendly employees to long lines and limited cashiers. Another aspect of Walmarts in general are the customers and usual characters this brand tends to attract and it was no different when I was there. Despite how you might feel about the brand, the customers, the employees, the mismanagement these stores tend to have, there is no complaining about the prices and at times convenience. Considering other locations, this one is good in comparison.
This is currently the only Walmart in Westchester county (upper Westchester at that, close to the Rockland border), so it does have that distinction. There are other Walmarts if you drive farther, over a bridge, or into Connecticut or Northern Jersey - but trust me when I say, that compared to some of those other locations, this is much better.
Located in the busy Cortlandt Town Center, while there is plenty of parking, the lot can be madness at times - especially the spots closer to the front. A lot of terrible drivers were in this lot at the time I was there, so use caution and have patience.
Overall, a decent Walmart and certainly better than some of its sister stores in a drivable distance. Yes, it's a Walmart and all the same issues these chains tend to have, but still decent and one I'd return to if needed. Bring your patience and lowered expectations with you and...
Read moreWell, well, well⌠what do I have to say about this Walmart. Local Walmart nearby. Convenient and has what you need it to have. However management is terrible. It was terrible having to witness management having the worst people skills ever. Mangers at this store are not friendly or reasonable or respectful at all. What kind of manger yells at customers. What kind of mangers are allowed to just talk over customers and not let them get a word in. Better yet get into someone face about something that couldâve been resolved so much more smoothly. A manger should never act this way. Itâs terrible seeing a manger treat a women like this for just trying to buy something. Being told that âthat you canât leaveâ in such a harsh tone. What the hell is that?! The women was terrified and scared. The manger was an older person and shouldnât be treating people like especially if the customer was okay with not leaving with the item they were trying to buy. Shouldnât have gotten that far. This Walmart is truly a joke. Donât ever come to this store and expect mangers or management to ever be on your side. Youâre better off going to target or not shop here at all. If you need to go here. Just get what you need and get out! Lines are long and the self checkout is even longer. This Walmart isnât what it used to be. The staff are rude and donât care but why would they. They probably donât get paid enough to care. Mangers literally yell at there employees. The workers donât even get the orders right when you do a pick up. This Walmart needs a redesign or something to freshen up the mood this Walmart has around it. Corporate Walmart donât even about this store. People file complaints about it and nothing seems to change....
