Häagen-Dazs — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

Apparently, we went in the wrong door and stood at the wrong side of the line, the two girls working ignored us, another couple walked in the "right" door and cut us on line. We waited for realistically 5 to 8 minutes scratching our heads as another girl came out of the back and while the one girl struggled in vein to scoop the ice cream the other two girls talked amongst themselves about love, work and managers being bossy, we quietly snuck out the "wrong door" and headed down the road to the next ice cream establishment. Too bad that people today people feel that just because they showed up thats good enough. The ice cream is delicious. The service is slow. Be prepared to practice patience as you watch the sole employee behind the counter move at a glacial pace, pondering how round the scoop is before gently lifting it from the cooler as if she’s playing pick up sticks or jenga. The person I assume is the manger peeks out and then scampers back into the rear of the store as the counter server is in the weeds in a nearly empty store. I'm not normally one to point out behavior but the lady that was closing today was rather rude. The younger kid was nice and helped us. The lady said, "I'm going to do the clean up so I don't get out at 11pm like last night." Then with an attitude asked me if I was getting a shake. I worked in retail for years and never spoke to someone like this. I understand that life is different now but we should all treat each other better. I did enjoy the ice...
