Tuna III — Restaurant in Town of Delhi

The sushi was good, although overpriced, and not enough of it in the dish. I had to order two subsequent rolls to feel filled. There was no alcoholic beverages, because the license was snafued due to covid, so no Sapporo in that meal. The only beer i got was rootbeer. Then there was the unfortunate experience of the cucumber-crab salad; It was a dense mass of mayonnaise-like paste embedded with tough stringy strands that would not chew into smaller pieces. Crab is supposed to be yielding and slightly fibrous, not tough like a rubber band. I detected no cucumber, but that may have been lost in my effort to chew down the other parts. Good food and fresh. Unfortunately their hours are misleading. The restaurant allegedly opens at 430pm for take out, but when I call at 5:55pm to place an order, I'm barked at to call back in an hour and rudely hung up on. They claim it's to fulfill online orders, but a quick search of door dash, grub hub, and Uber eats shows they they are not listed as an option for delivery or even to order from. If you want to open later, change your hours. Who wants to eat dinner at 7pm? It's a shame, I really like their food and it's the only decent place in town. Very dissatisfied with the experience, my mother and I had dinner here and though my meal was good and well portioned my mother's was a disaster. The seafood teriyaki consisted of one single tiny scallop, two shrimp which were served with shell and legs still on so it was impossible to eat with chopsticks, and the salmon pieces were small and paper thin. For $17 it was a horrible rip off and the waitress never brought the salads which were supposed to be included in the meal.
