Had high hopes for this place after seeing them on our community forum with the 28" pie. Unfortunately all hope was diminished when we went to pick up our order. Our family ordered 1-28" pie, as well as 3 other pies, and 5 different starters/appetizers, quite a large order.
When we arrived to pick our order up we were initially told another couple minutes, so we sat down and waited. While sitting there with my father, 2 brothers and my 8 year old nephew we heard and saw the owner yelling at the pizza maker, and watched him belittle him and throw a fit. As this was happening the counter girl (who was very kind and the only one who was apologetic this whole ordeal) came over to tell us our 28" pie got messed up and had to be remade, (which when we phoned in our order we were told 50mins because the 28 takes a half hour itself to cook). Right away i was worried about ALL the other food sitting there on top of the oven for over an hour, but being already close to 6pm on a Saturday night, and between my 8yr old nephew and a couple other young ones back home starving we opted to wait it out, also cause we were excited for the extra large pie. Well after the pie was remade and rushing home (7min drive) my worry of the food not being up to par was spot on. All the other pies after sitting there well over an hour were completely dried out and basically cold and stiff as a board. The 2 orders of mozzarella sticks were basically breaded string cheese snacks cause they werent hot anymore and the cheese no longer melted, and the 2 orders of onion rings were soggy and mushy from sitting in the plastic containers all that time.
All in all was not a good experience, not that we're the people who would ever make a stink (mistakes happen we get it), but we weren't offered one of the appetizers on the house, an extra order garlic knots or a bottle of soda or anything. But most of all, the owners/managers both there didn't offer an apology, sorry for the mess up, thanks for waiting, NOTHING.
Definitely will not be back. As a customer and a boss at a company all I saw that night was poor leadership and very poor customer skills and absolutely no gratitude towards customers who came in and spent over $200 for dinner, who also had not a single complaint waiting an extra 40mins on top of the original...
Read moreWhat a treat! I was waiting for this place to open. I can't get enough now. If you youre from the lower westchester/Bronx area you KNOW good pizza. This is ONE of those places. Cooked to perfection, sauce baked on properly, textured, doesn't flop when you pick it up crunchy 😋 yummy slice this is your spot. But wait, there's more! The environment is clean, the staff is friendly. I adore the young lady ( blond 👱♀️ whose always smiling, has a great attitude) and there's another young lady dark hair glasses,
Read moreJust visited here for lunch. Have not been since it was nicks brick oven years ago. To say this pizza was delicious is an understatement! I ordered a slice of chicken Marsala pizza, the chicken was absolutely delicious the slice was LOADED with toppings and the crust was cooked to perfection! Needless To say me and my family have a new favorite pizza spot. To top off our random lunch outting today the service was fantastic. Sweet girl behind the counter let us take our time to look over what we wanted too order, took our order, brought us our food and cleaned up our plates. (Usually we have to get our food and return our dishes at most places) afterwards the owner asked how our food was, if we were happy and satisfied and then continued to have a nice conversation with us. We will absolve returning and we urge the general community to give them a shot because we were highly pleased with the food and...
