Tiramisu Ristorante Pizzeria & Bakery — Restaurant in Town of East Fishkill

This will be my first review of this sort. All my reviews are 1000% my honest unbiased opinion. The pizza here is 4/5 the best part of this shop is the pastries. Those get a 4.3/5. The experience however is a 1/5. I've been going to this pizza place on and off on my way home from work for the last 5 years. A few times I've been in the shop and have been treated pretty rudely by what I believe is the owners wife. I've been to this pizza place prob over 50 times. Have taken my kids in there and the younger staff and the gentleman that work there are very nice and professional, BUT I warn you, the older woman with dark hair at the register, is snappy, will often take customers she likes better than u AHEAD of u regardless of when u came in and started waiting. It's happened to me now a few times and the last time I was going to say something but who wants to make a scene over something like this. I'm a big guy 6'4 with a big afro I am hard to miss when I'm standing dead in front of u looking at u. I will just leave it at that. Living up in dutchess there are limited food options unless u are willing to travel but I am not that rich to give my money to people who don't appreciate it, so I may take my 20 bucks somewhere else. I'm sure they will not Miss my business, but i felt it right to say what is what. And when.i am in a store I say yes ma'am and yes sir. My recent visit to Tiramisu restaurant exceeded all expectations! Despite my initial hesitation about requesting separate checks, the staff graciously accommodated our request without any hesitation.

To start, we indulged in the Buffalo calamari appetizer, which was nothing short of spectacular! Crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor, it set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. For my main course, I opted for the zuppa de pesche with a fiery diavolo sauce, and it surpassed all expectations. Overflowing with fresh seafood and immersed in a flavorful sauce, each bite was a true delight.

My husband, on the other hand, raved about his chicken francese, boldly claiming it to be even better than mine! The dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's mastery of Italian cuisine.

To top off an already fantastic meal, the owner went above and beyond by treating my son to a selection of cookies on the house. This thoughtful gesture truly exemplified the warmth and hospitality of the staff.

This is a beautiful restaurant that I visited last Tuesday, June 25, 2024. The food was amazing! For the first course (the appetizer) I had fried calamari that was seasoned just right and tender without being chewy. Also, the mozzarella sticks were giant much to my surprise but they were breaded correctly and cheesy! The second course I had was chicken francese with a potato croquette and grilled zucchini. The francese tasted tender and flavorful and done up in a lemon sauce, which was great. The sides were fantastic, with the croquette being nice and scrumptious as well as the grilled zucchini rounding out the perfect pairings of the meal. My third and final course I had was the tiramisu. I thought the tiramisu was just going to be a small slice as it is in most Italian restaurants I go to. However, I throughly enjoyed this tiramisu as it was soaked in espresso and flavored sponge with mascarpone cream and whipped cream, dusted with cocoa.
