Spectacular Seafood
Exceptional Staff
Tremendous Value!!! The Seafood Shop is a MUST for those who live in the Hamptons (although you probably know this already) and especially those like us who visit the Hamptons periodically and want to get the highest quality meal for a tremendous value served up by a super accommodating staff! There honestly isn’t the need to go out to fancy restaurants because The Seafood Shop prepares out of this world made to order meals that are both plentiful but most importantly SUPER DELICIOUS! We had grilled Halibut with two sides the past two days that was cooked to perfection! Our compliments to the chef as it was honestly THE BEST Halibut we have EVER had
light and white and flaky delectable! Onion rings, waffle cut fries(extra crispy) and fried veggies as the sides garnished with lettuce leaf, huge tomato slice and a wedge of lemon
we couldn’t finish it all as the halibut portion and sides were so plentiful! And what’s incredible is that for two meals it costs only $47 including tax! We challenge anyone to find this kind of quality and value anywhere! Thanks to owner Colin and our new friend, Andrew, who made sure our orders were perfect we will continue to plan our meals around The Seafood Shop each and every day we are in the Hamptons. Once you try it we’re sure you will agree....

I have been driving past this place for years on my way to and from Montauk. I finally made a stop this past weekend to get some little neck clams for Memorial day weekend. While we were there we decided to grab a lobster roll and a fried flounder sandwich for lunch. The gentleman helping me was very friendly and recommended we get 5 dozen clams based on the amount of people we had. The lobster roll was delicious and fairly priced. It comes with a side of, rice, fries, or onion rings. The fried flounder was also very good. Most things are fairly priced but the lobster salad was priced at $70 per pound. I don't know what they're smoking charging that much. You can pick up 2 pound and a quarter lobster for about $10 a pound, have them steamed for you at the supermarket, add some mayo and celery and have your own lobster salad for about 1/4 of the price. Yes this is prepared for you but $70 is ridiculous. I could understand $20 a pound, Hamptons or not. No need to...

This is is the very best roadside seafood stop I’ve ever visited in the US. A fishmonger’s dream of selections, including local porgy and huge striped bass. Absolutely fresh seafood, with an extensive selection of prepared savory dishes and tart garnish, available by the pound. Highly recommend the Portuguese octopus salad, shrimp salad, pico de gallo and mango salad. For the hot menu, they have just about everything one could want from a delectable smorgasbord of fresh seafood harvest. I suggest the Super Combo, to get an introduction to the menu. It includes fried fresh local flounder, shrimp, scallops and clams - FRESH, hand breaded clams. For those looking for fresh oysters and clams, you won’t be disappointed. Combined with local Montauk iced tea, and you’ve got an excellent meal. Finally, they have colossal live lobsters at very decent prices. I believe the day I visited, it was 4 lobsters for 60...

Great little place where you can get fish and seafood to take home and prrpare or you can buy lunch or dinner to eat. All the seafood here is fresh. The prepared foods are all good as well. I had a crab cake sandwich and a Red Thai curry seafood soup for lunch one day. The crab cake had lots of crab in it. The seafood soup was outstanding!!! Went back the next day and got a New England clam chowder and a crab empanada. The empanada was really good, never had an empanada with crab in it but it worked really well. The New England ckam chowder was on point. Really great place. Would definitely come back here whenever I am back in the area.

The Seafood Shop is signature and famous for its super fresh ingredients. The exterior decor is humble with simple white and blue colors. During COVID-19, they only allowed 4 customers to shop at one time so there might be a line outside but the wait wasn’t too bad. There was a great variety of options from ingredients, uncooked food, prepared food and delicious dishes with reasonable prices. We bought one pound of shrimp & clam and it was amazingly delicious.

Got the grilled tuna steak meal. Really good and fresh. Cooked the way I wanted it. They only limit 4 people in at a time which was good so either stand outside or wait in your car. Only thing which Google reviews also mention about sanitary issues- one woman worker - while I was waiting in car- she had her face mask under her nose while she was handling food. Not cool & unsanitary. That’s why it got 4 * vs
