Bowled — Restaurant in Town of Glenville

Had service refused while they were open. I had placed an order for pickup at this location and I accidentally placed it for a different location. That would be my bad and things happen. Trying to find a solution as I would an employee at my own job, I offered to cancel the order at the other location and to have them make it in store. The employees refused and gave me every excuse they could come up with “because they were so busy”..as me and one other customer were in the store. As someone who also works in similar food service I found it absolutely ridiculous how 25mins before they were supposed to be “closed,” the employees refused to make any food for a customer. As a closer at a food service job it should be an expectation, to close the store after your closing time, NOT while you’re open. Overall the situation was handled poorly and the employees need to be taught better...

Ordered online which was a painless experience. Menu easy to navigate, options easy to figure out. Prices are a bit ridiculous. Adding chicken was like $6 for a small amount maybe 2 oz. salad with chicken and a smoothie was $22 for something I honestly could have made at home for $4. salads are packed tight to the top with no room to mix items together. Will say the avocado was ripe which is a very hit or miss issue in takeaway. Was not given a straw or fork. Altogether pretty meh experience for middling quality ingredients but bad prices.

New edit: tried again a week later. chose the nut ella waffle with added banana. arrived slightly early and was told my order was almost ready. being that I had to wait a couple minutes I expected a fresh item, but the waffle is lukewarm and hard. Not too many places serve salad before 10:00 in the morning and I Googled salad restaurants in the area in this place came up I've never been there before so I figured I'd try it out. When I came in I was greeted at the door and I told them that I've never there before and they showed me the menu and told me how I could make my own salad. The staff was very helpful and kind. I ordered their large salad and picked my five items, everything was fresh and they made the salad very quickly. I took my salad home and put it in a bigger bowl so I could spread it out to put my salad dressing on and I could not believe how huge it was, I'll definitely have to save some for dinner!
