Town Tavern — Restaurant in Town of Grand Island

Just around the corner from our house, this is now a favorite place for a drink, dinner or some apps. No matter the day or time, we've always managed to find a seat. Recently we stopped in on a Friday night. It was busy, and food took a while, but our waitress Krystal was awesome. She made suggestions for apps, got our drinks fast, and stopped by every once in a while to check in and provide updates. When the food arrived it was awesome. Chicken Garlic Spinach sandwich was amazing, and I got the Beet Salad with grilled chicken. The potstickers were great as well, although we should have got 2 orders because they disappeared fast! This place is fun year round. Live music and karaoke on random nights and in summer there are volleyball courts out back with refs, and open games or intramural teams to watch. We have stopped in a few times since they opened, and after our evening with Krystal, we will definitely be coming in more often. I absolutely love this spot! The modern and stylish decor sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The space is clean and well-designed, creating a comfortable yet upscale vibe.

The food is consistantly on point — every dish is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

The cocktails! Creative and beautifully presented, the martinis here are on another level. Whether you’re into classics or more adventurous mixes, the bartenders know what they’re doing and deliver every time.

Service is just as impressive. Shout out to TJ for the magical martini! The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, making you feel welcome without hovering.

All around, this place hits all the marks. Delicious food, stellar drinks, and a great atmosphere....

Nice place... We went for karaoke... Crowd was very eclectic you might say... But you can't blame the location for the crowd... But it was fun for sure.... If I was going to complain and I don't think I really am... The service was weird... It seemed like there were plenty of people milling around "working" but they did their very best not to make eye contact with you.... Bizarrely trying to find "busy work" when the place was packed... I suppose maybe they were bar backs or other staff... But if so, why were they behind the bar at all .. where you might think you could order a drink from them?... They weren't restocking ice bins.... Or removing bus pans... So it was just a little bizarre... Overall it was a very nice place... I'm not 100% sure but I think I will go back.. but only because my wife...
