It's a shame how municipalities are ran these days. There's no concerns for anything except receiving a paycheck. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone if you need answers and/or assistance with basically anything. Dial by name directory is what you get as if people know people there by their last names. Missing driving school right now because the address and time listed is either not accurate, or people are just not going to work. I went there physically and nobody answers the doors, yet the 2 officers I did see one of which was sleeping at his desk didn't even acknowledge by presence which is not only rude, inconsiderate it's completely unacceptable. Specifically when we're paying their wages with our tax dollars. Way to run a business and steal from the public with complete disregard for anyone's welfare.

Not one number for driving school is listed by them which is certainly not a mistake. This means more revenue fire the town when people can't take care of their matters at hand on the specified time and date because there's simply no way to get in touch with anyone. we stopped by the town hall to discuss a pool permit. we were given a schematic and went on our way. we were never told we needed to use a town approved electrician and when we called to get a list of them (once an electrician mentioned this detail to us) they refused to email the list and we had to stop back to pick up the list. we then got everything set (pool installation booked, picked out an electrician, etc.) and called to figure out our next steps. once they had the information from the installers, they told us to stop and drop off the schematic and pick up the permit. we head back down to town hall and wait 20 minutes only to be told the person previously helping us was at lunch and we should stop by later. it is 2020. people work and are busy. who has time to stop for things that should be emailed and stop multiple times because someone...

No handicap access to the 2nd floor. It is so nice when you can't walk and park infront of the laundromat to run in and geab your clothes that the wonderful police of grand island have nothing better to do then give you a ticket for parking in a fire lane.
