This used to be an ELITE BK location. It hasn't been so in 5+ years.
Prior to COVID (2016-2017) this was a 5 star BK. Fast, fresh, tasty and quick. Top notch and it made me a BK fan, which I had never been before. I was a Wendy's fan prior. The Whoppers and fries here were amazing.
During the Pandemic it was a plain mess. 0 of 5 stars. I had missing items/ whoppers with no meat, 15-20 minute wait times etc... a total disaster. 0 stars. I boycotted it for 2 years after. This is a Carroll's location and they never reached out to me, so I boycotted them for 2 years. If they don't care then they don't need my business.
The past year it is trying to act like a Carroll's location again. In the past year the quality is better. If you order a basic item like a Whopper and fries, it is good. Even the chicken classic in the 2 for $5 was very good. Excellent even for the price.
Last week we tried the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper. It was a pretty bad experience. The condiments were very inconsistent across the three burgers. The toppings were soggy. The overall SBW were mid at best. I liked mine, two other people did not. The burger quality and condiments was very inconsistent.
Ordering the basics here is pretty good but anything else is hit and miss still.
This was a 5 star BK, dropped to a 0 and is back to a 2, maybe a 3 if you order the classics. In general the food at the Mt Read location is better, but the service on Dewey is better in general.
I miss the pre-pandemic Dewey Avenue BK. That was a real quality BK. It made me change my mind about BK....
Read moreThe new manager at this location has been great until today. I just placed an order for 3 double cheese burgers no bun and I didn't hear which window they told me to drive up to so I drove up to the first window and no one was there. So I drove up to the next window. The manager comes to the window with an argumentative tone telling me that I need to back up to the other window because I was told to go to the first window. I told her there was no one there, she implied that I lied and said yes there was.
After I placed my order, I drove up to the first window, stopped looked in, no one was there so I drove up to the next window. She then said, well she is there now. Ok... so I have to back up now because your employee wasn't where they should have been as opposed to you taking my card and walking back there to process my order. I started to back up and then realized that I shouldn't reward a bad attitude and poor customer service so I left.
I used to come to this place every day and spend $14. Lets see what that works out to shall we? 14 * 30 = $420. This is how much you are going to lose a month now because you decided to be lazy and have an attitude. This place is rarely busy... I don't know why they would want to disrespect customers when it appears they probably barely make enough to stay in business. I am reasonably certain the traffic here is so low because of the poor customer service. The owner of this location should take notice and...
Read moreI love Burger King food. But this location consistently forgets items in my order when I go to the drive-through. Tonight it was both of my kids apple juice as well as my large drink. When you have so many people in a car and you’re driving through the drive-through it’s difficult to take stock of everything that you’ve ordered to find out after you get home that you’re missing pieces of your order is very frustrating. This place needs to dial in on its quality control to make sure that orders are complete before people drive away. I’m so tired of driving back to this place to get them to give me the stuff that they forget the first time. I’m gonna spend my...
