My fiancé and I ordered takeout from here last night, and we were blown away! Normally I’d post photos—but it smelled so good on the drive home that we dove in the moment we walked through the door! We got the special mixed platter, combo platter, chicken tikka paratha roll, loaded fries, and a tornado potato stick—everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They also offer American classics like mozzarella sticks, burgers, chicken nuggets, and more. Honestly, the burger looked insane—we’ll definitely be trying that next time!
We ordered online and our food was ready just a few minutes after we arrived. The restaurant is bright, clean, and smelled incredible. There’s dine-in seating available, and we’re already planning to come back and eat there next time. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.
While we loved every single thing we ordered, the paratha roll was the standout for me—the flatbread tasted homemade and was perfectly flaky. The loaded fries were still crispy after the 20-minute drive home, and the tornado potato stick was such a fun and unique addition to the menu—seasoned to perfection. Also, the white sauce? So, so good!
I can't say enough great things about this place. Everything was bursting with flavor, and we can’t wait to come back! We're so lucky to have something this incredible so close by. You can truly taste the heart and soul they put into every dish. If you're in the mood for halal food, definitely give this place a try—you will NOT be...
Read moreMy friend introduced me to Halal Rooster today for lunch. He had the mixed platter, which is a tremendous amount of food for the price. He ordered it the previous time he visited and enjoyed it all. All the meat was tender and nicely seasoned. He also ordered the tornado potato stick. We shared that and devoured it quickly. You don't even notice it was battered before it was fried. The mixed platter included chopped chicken Tandoor-style, one chicken chapli, two baked wings, and a nice portion of lamb all over saffron rice. It also comes with salad. I had the lamb over saffron rice with salad. The lamb was tender and nicely seasoned. I loved the saffron rice. Its subtle flavor complemented the lamb beautifully. Delicious. I also love falafel, so I ordered some for takeout. I've had falafel from Aladdins, Cedars Mediterranean, and Mr. Falafel. I enjoyed Hala Rooster's the most. The filling was sumptuous and moist, and the parsley did not overwhelm the other flavors. I'll definitely be ordering those again. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and answered all our questions. The seating seems limited when you first enter, but they have a side room that can probably accommodate another 20+ people. Their prices are reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food....
